I smoothed out my dress holding back tears. I looked like a princess, I felt like an angel and I was more than ready to get married. "You look beautiful" pops wiped his eyes, his tears were already flowing. I carefully wiped them and fixed his tie, being sure not to crease his new suit. "So do you" I smiled and he gave a little chuckle.

"Are you ready munchkin?"

I nodded. "Let's do this."

With my arm linked through his, we left the hotel and climbed into the limo Fran had arranged for us. "Wow Y/n, you are stunning" she complimented, handing my bouquet over to me. "Thank you for everything" I replied. She flashed a smile and descended into her seat before talking to her kids. My legs felt jittery during the car ride but in a good way like a kid on Christmas morning.

When we arrived at the venue there were dozens of cars parked outside already and a few photographers stationed outside. "Oh my god...Did the whole town show up?!" I was startled. "Looks like it" pops was startled too. He helped me out of the car and already the cameras were flashing. I heard a few murmurs "She's marrying the ex-felon" or "Isn't she the lady from court?"

I ignored it and kept my head held high, nothing could spoil my day. Once inside, the music began and the guests stood up, all eyes on me. I could see Bill gazing at me with such lust in his eyes as pops walked me down the aisle. When we reached the altar, he kissed my cheek and headed over to Fran and the kids. "Baby I-" Bill whispered, he couldn't even finish his sentence because he was so speechless as he looked me up and down, I couldn't help but giggle.

The officiant started to call out his speech as everyone listened with intent. Eventually, Bill and I faced each other.

"Bill, do you take Y/n to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

"I do"

"Y/n, do you take Bill to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do"

We exchanged our vows and slipped the rings on each other's fingers. "By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife! You may kiss the bride" The officiant declared. The guests erupted into cheers as Bill wasted no time in cupping my face and kissing me like there was no tomorrow. If time could freeze, that would be the perfect moment.

The wedding reception was being held on the other side of the botanical garden. The decorations were absolutely breathing taking and it was everything and more that I had fantasised about. Our first dance commenced and Bill held me close, our eye contact ethereal. My right hand was wrapped in his left hand and Bill's right hand was rested on my back as my left hand rested upon his chest. We were being filmed by many different camcorders as the guests swayed along to the music.

"You are everything to me" I heard him whisper in my ear. Just when I thought my heart couldn't melt anymore, it did. "I could say the same for you baby" I whispered back. Kisses after kisses, I couldn't get enough of my husband. I thought it'd feel odd to call him that but it felt so natural. I spotted Stan in the crowd and gave a wave, also noticing a lady on his arm as he flashed me a thumbs up.

"Did you know Stan has a lady on his arm?" I gossiped. Bill turned his head and chuckled. "Let's hope he doesn't scare her off," he said which made me laugh. The song eventually came to an end and everyone clapped for us. I could tell the younger kids were getting a bit restless and I knew just how to settle them down. "Time to cut the cake!" I called out and my plan worked perfectly. Bill and I gathered around the three-tier cake that was decorated in the purest white icing.

There were a few camera flashes before Bill sunk the knife into the cake and drew a piece out. He dipped his finger in and wiped a bit on my cheek before licking it off. "Bill Gambini!" I said in shock. "Y/n Gambini" he copied me with a laugh and I couldn't get mad at him even if he did smudge my makeup a little. "I could hear you call me that all day long" I swooned and pulled him in for another kiss.

As any little girl dreams, I had my fairytale wedding and nothing could've prepared me for what was to come.
