The loud knocking on the door distracted me from the tv. "Cominggg" I called out as I lazily pushed myself up from the couch. To my pleasant surprise, Bill was standing there wearing his casual weekend clothes. "Hey Y/n" he greeted with that precious smile.

"Hiya Bill, what are you doing here?" I asked with a half confused smile.

It was my day off from work and I wasn't expecting any visitors. "I really need a favour from you," he said. "Sure what's up?" I replied curiously. "So Blair and I were supposed to go looking at wedding venues today but I've been called into the office, would you mind going with her?"

In my head, alarm bells blared. 'SHE'S A BITCH Y/N SAY NO OR MAKE UP AN EXCUSE RIGHT NOW BEFORE YOU KILL HER'

"Sure, I don't mind"

Bill smiled widely, almost like a relief. "I really owe you one. She'll meet you downstairs" he replied. Though before he left, he reached out and gave my hand a small squeeze. I couldn't help but swoon for a moment until I realised what I had just signed myself up for.

"Fuck me I'm an idiot! Ugh, why does he have to be so god damn perfect!" I muttered to myself. The ONLY reason I agreed was just to make him happy. Other than that, I was dreading spending the day with the wicked witch of the west.

I got ready, not trying too hard with my appearance. When I headed outside, Blair was waiting by her fancy car. "About time you showed up. I have a wedding to plan" she scoffed as I approached. "Let's just get this over with" I sighed as we climbed in.

The ride to the first venue was tedious. She yapped away on her phone loudly, gums smacking. I sat there awkwardly staring out of the window, trying not to display my disapproval. The first venue was at the local church. We walked around slowly, observing everything in detail.

"Hm, I've seen cuter. Is there any way we can get rid of this weird statue thingy?" She asked. "You mean the cross ma'am?" The priest replied. "Yeah, that thing. It might take away the attention from my dress" Blair replied.

I wasn't shocked at all when the priest forced us to leave. "That's just so disrespectful. Doesn't he understand I'm getting married?" She sulked. I really had to bite my tongue from saying something I might've regretted. "Let's just go to the next place" I suggested.

So she takes us to a hall downtown. It's big, but not big enough in her eyes. The way she walks around with a grimaced look upon her face, I really can't understand what the problem is. "This is nice, right?" I said cheerfully.

She shook her head.

"It's so plain. Reminds me of Bill's old house" she commented. I clicked my tongue in annoyance, the ungrateful brat. As the day went on, I really started to pick up on her true colours and I knew deep down...He shouldn't marry her.

The last wedding venue we drove to was the best out of all of them. On the outskirts of town was a beautiful botanical garden. On display were the most luscious flowers and it felt like walking into paradise. "Now this...This is the one" I heard Blair say.

She called over a worker and the two began discussing wedding arrangements but I wasn't even listening. I could almost envision myself walking down the aisle in a stunning pure white wedding dress, heading towards the love of my life.

I could see Bill standing there, smiling wide with Stan by his side. The sound of the waterfall flowing against the sound of organ music as the guests watch in amazement. I stood there lost in my dreams like a princess stuck in a fairytale, only to have them shattered when Blair spoke in a tone that caught my attention.

And then I remembered. He wasn't marrying me.

He was marrying her.
