33. - the end

A few weeks later

"That's the last of it"

I watched as Bill placed the final box down inside our new three-bedroom house. "I can't believe we've finally got our own place together" I beamed ecstatically. "Just me and my wife" Bill came over and wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me into a kiss. I truly was at my peak of happiness and after everything we'd been through, I felt I deserved it. The best part was that pops was only a couple of streets away so the family would be able to come over whenever.

"You know baby, we should get a pool for the garden" he conversed, taking a sip of coffee. "Let's wait until we decorate the house first" I giggled. Bill chuckled and began to unload the boxes when I slipped away into the bathroom and opened the draw. I had some exciting news to share with Bill and it was finally time to tell him. "Y/n? Where'd you go?" I heard him call for me. "I'm coming one second" I called back. 

I took a deep breath and headed back downstairs, Bill was lounging in the garden chair. He instantly held his arms out for me and I swayed into his lap, being engulfed in his embrace. "It's such a nice day" he relaxed, a bright smile on his face and his eyes closed. After a moment of silence, I spoke up. "Baby? I have something to tell you" I said quietly. Bill opened one eye curiously. "What's up, sweetheart?"

With a nervous yet excited smile, I withdrew from my pocket something that was about to change our lives forever. "I'm pregnant Bill" I ultimately revealed. I've never seen a man's jaw open so quick as the shock waved over him. "I got you pregnant?" He asked a few minutes later. "Yeah, that's what happens when you have sex" I answered jokingly and he rolled his eyes. "No but seriously, we're having a baby? All jokes aside?"

I nodded.

"I'm sorry if this isn't what you-

Bill cut me off a kiss. Sweet and passionate, one filled with the kind of lust that draws you in and the world around melts away. "Don't you ever apologize, we're having a baby and I'm married to the love of my life. This can't get any better" he mumbled against my lips. I felt so emotional that I started to cry just a little from being so overjoyed. Bill carefully wiped them away with his sleeve before slowly stroking his thumbs against my temples.

It was moments like this that I lived for. 

His touch so effortless but brings out the warmth in me. 

"Does pops know?" He asked me curiously. "Not yet, we're gonna tell him together" I smiled. We both gave each other a look before chuckling, it wasn't rocket science to guess what his reaction would be. I snuggled into Bill as he held me close, rocking us gently in the swing chair. "When I first came to Alabama I hated it for being stuck in jail. But then I met you and well...I fell in love" he told me.

"I thought I'd never see you again when you left me," I said, reminiscing that awful day.

Bill lifted my chin up and gazed at me right in the eyes.

"Baby...I'll never leave you again until death do us part," he told me.

I smiled. It was just me and Bill and soon to be our newborn baby.

Until death do us part.

A/N - Oh my goodness!! Thank you all for the love on my book, I had no idea people would enjoy my Bill Gambini fanfic so much! So now that Bill and you are finally together about to have a baby, this is where the story ends but I have another Ralph fanfic coming. With that being said, the next Ralph character I'm going to write for is Eddie Pilikian!
