A few months later...Scranton, Pennsylvania

"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Scranton Airport. Local time is 1:25 pm and the temperature is 25 degrees with clear and sunny skies.

For your safety and comfort, please remain seated with your seat belt fastened until the Captain turns off the Fasten Seat Belt sign. This will indicate that we have parked at the gate and that it is safe for you to move about. Cellular phones may only be used once the Fasten Seat Belt sign has been turned off.

Please check around your seat for any personal belongings you may have brought on board with you and please use caution when opening the overhead cabinet, as heavy articles may have shifted around during the flight.

If you require deplaning assistance, please remain in your seat until all other passengers have deplaned. One of our crew members will then be pleased to assist you.

On behalf of American Airlines and the entire crew, I'd like to thank you for joining us on this trip and we are looking forward to seeing you onboard again in the near future. Have a nice day!"

It felt good to be back. I headed through the airport with a smile on my face, my spirits high. Already, I was missing pops and Francesca. They had taken really good care of me and I even had a makeover. New dyed hair, new clothes, a whole new attitude. I felt like a brand new woman and I was here for it!

"Taxi!" I hailed, waving my arm out. I gave him my address and finally, I was on my way back to my apartment. As I was feeling so good, I even tipped the driver. "Very generous ma'am" he smiled and I nodded. I thought I'd come back to a clean apartment...But I was wrong. My house was a shit mess.

"Damn I knew I should've cleaned up before I left" I mumbled. Still, I tried to make the most of it and tidied away what I could. Getting hungry, I went to find some snacks but my cupboards were empty. Even the fridge had nothing to offer so I was forced to go back out to the store still jet-lagged, to say the least.

I was walking around lost in my thoughts when I bumped into someone. "Oh...It's you" a voice seethed. There I was, facing the devil herself. My eyes immediately latched onto Blair's baby bump, a hidden jealously boiled deep inside me. "How's the pregnancy?" I asked but I didn't care. "Just great. I'd ask how your life is going but it seems you're in a crisis" she sneered.

Blair looked me up and down, clearing judging my new look. "Whatever this phase is, I pray for you," she said before laughing and walking away. "Stupid motherfuck-" I began to cry out but I realised an old lady was watching me with her mouth wide open in shock at my language.

Embarrassed, I left the supermarket and headed home empty-handed. My mood was completely ruined and I didn't bother to face the world anymore. I sunk down onto the couch and ordered takeout with a sigh. All I could think was...Why her?
