Aspen's P.O.V
The wolf-hybrid fell to the ground with its eyes closed.
"Luna! We have to help it!" I said.
"Are you kidding!? It just tried to eat you!" Luna replied.
"We have to!" I said.
"Fine, but how? I am pretty sure you don't have a degree in taking a fucking bullet out of a wolf's shoulder!" Luna said.
"Actually, I have been studying it recently." I said, with a smirk.
"Of course you have." Luna said, getting kind of pissed. "But, we are only doing this because my mother already left for work."
"Okay,I need some tweezers, lots of paper towels and bandages to wrap its shoulder in later.." I said.
Luna just stood there looking at the wolf-hybrid. "Oh, you mean now?"
"Umm... YEAH! When else?" I said, as if it were obviously (which it was).
Luna came back with all of the supplies and gave it to me.
"Alright, here you go. BUT I AM NOT TOUCHING ANY OF THAT DAMN BLOOD!" she said, walking far away from the hybrid.
"Fine." I said.
I went over to the hybrid and knelt down next to its shoulder.
Blood clotted the fur and the wound was puffy with a yellow substance coming out.
Damn it, the shot's already infected, I thought.
I took the tweezers and put them in the cut, fishing out the bullet and put it next to me on the concrete. Luna looked like she was about to puke.
The wolf's eyes flicked open and glared at me. Clearly it was going through a lot of pain.
"Give me some alcohol," I said to Luna.
"You're drinking on the job?"
"What? Just give it to me!"
Luna handed me the bottle of alcohol and I doused the wound in it. Blood seeped onto the floor as the wound fizzed. It was more infected than I thought.
I wiped it away with the paper towel and wrapped the wolf's shoulder in bandages, blood already sinking into the white fabric.
"I am done. We will have to let it rest though, the wound is really infected." I said and stood up.
"Okay then! Can we get something to eat?" Luna said.
"Luna!" I yelled.
"What?" she answered.
"She is opening her eyes!" I said, relieved.
"How do you know it is a she?" Luna asked.
"I saw." I said, being blunt about the specifics...
"Okay then. Can we eat now? You said it...... she had to rest." Luna said, opening the door.
"Fine." I walked out the door and we both went inside.
