Chapter 22: Guns

Luna's P.O.V.

My best friend was getting hurt, was suffering, was going through pain, and I couldn't do any fucking thing about it.

I felt so useless, we promised each other that we'll look out for each other and save each other's butt, but I couldn't save her. It should have been me, I should have been the one who goes through the pain, Aspen isn't used to it but I am.

I should have tried harder to stop her, why... why does she always have to do things to me... why does she always have to be the one that saves me? Couldn't it just be me for once? I thought, still crying. I broke both promises that were very important to me.

1: no crying and 2: saving Aspen whenever she's in trouble.

I knew that crying wasn't going to do anything to help her and HECK OUR STUPID FUCKING KIDNAPPERS PROBALBY LIKED SEEING ME CRY!

I wiped my tears from my face and started to look around the spectators area. To my right there was a door but no handle on the side that we were in and to the left there was nothing but an axe in a glass case.

Nothing here was going to he - .WAIT A FUCKING MINUTE, AN AXE!? WHO THE FUCK KEEPS A FUCKING AXE IN THE SPECTAORS AREA!

I looked at Aspen who was still screaming in pain, her tears were still going down her cheeks. I clenched my fists and knew that I had to save her. I kicked Leon and he looked at me confused.

"What?" he whispered.

"Can you reach the axe over there?" I asked pointing to where the axe was.

Leon looked over to the Axe and then back to me.

"Maybe, it's hard to tell," he said.

I sighed and looked at the idiots who kidnapped us. I saw that they had guns and then I had a very crazy idea.

"Leon!" I whispered yelled.

He looked at me.

"I'm going to need you to help untie me from this chair, I think I have a plan on how to get that axe." I explained.

He looked at me confused then nodded.

You think that they'd be smart enough to take away Leon's pocket knife, but like I said they're idiots. Leon started to cut the ropes that I was in, slowly he cut through the one's on my hands. I bent down and untied the rope on the feet.

These morons need to get better things to tie people up with and they need to learn how to DOUBLE- KNOT A FUCKING ROPE!

I got up and started to yell the things that I thought about them.

"You guys are complete morons!" I yelled, two of the kidnappers looked my way and saw that I was free.

"Hey get back in that chair or else!" snarled one of them.

"Or else what? You'll shoot me." I said and rolled my eyes.

The kidnapper looked at the Boss Kidnapper and he nodded. The kidnapper and the other both looked back at me and pulled out their guns.

Perfect, everything is going to plan. I thought.

They both aimed at me and started to shoot at me. I ducked but the bullet barely missed me, it got some of my hair.

I got back up with wide eyes and looked at the goons. They fired at me again and this time I started to run.

I needed one of them to hit the glass blocking the axe. There was one way through it and that path had Leon right in the middle of it.

I couldn't care less if he got shot or not, so I'll take the chance.

I ran past Leon, the kidnappers still shooting. Leon looked at me with wide eyes. One of the bullets barely missed his heart but instead hit his shoulder.

Ouch, that's gotta hurt, I thought. I actually kinda feel bad for the poor guy.

I kept running until I was in front of the axe. One of the kidnappers shot right at me and ducked it hit the glass and the whole thing shattered.

I got back up and started to look through the now opened glass box.

The axe WAS A FUCKING DRAWING, but I found somehting even better, a gun that was fully loaded and some cash. I took the money and stuffed it in my pocket.

I wasn't about to waste money. Then I picked up the real treasure, the gun.

I had no fucking idea on how to work this thing so I ponited it at them like I did know how. Both of them put their guns down and their hands in the air.

"No need to get violent."said one of them.

"We are wayyyyyy past the violent mark, this is now to the death." I said, still pointing the gun at them.

"Just don't shoot little girl." said one of the kidnappers.

Little girl, who the fuck does he think he's talking to?!

I walked over to Aspen who was still in pain and untied her. I grabbed her and then went over to Leon. I untied him too.

"What the fuck was that!?" yelled Leon.

I rolled my eyes. "It's only a shot in the shoulder, you'll live."

He looked at me, shocked. I handed him the gun and helped Aspen walk. She was in so much pain that she was still crying. It hurt to see my best friend like this. We all walked out of the room and started to roam the halls making sure that none of the kidnappers were following us and that we didn't run into one unexpectedly.
