As with most places in the world, this critique shop will have some rules. Here they are:
1. BE RESPECTFUL- Please do not attack any of the reviewers for a review that you do not like. Take your feedback in stride and go. I promise you, I will be proof-reading all the reviews, and if I find one to be unconstructive and demeaning, I will review your book personally, write my own review, and publish that.
2. Be patient- I will not tolerate anyone pressuring the reviewers to get reviews out. Remember—They are human beings, not ro-bots.
3. Follow all the rules- if you don't follow all the rules I list for you, you won't be getting a review, period. End of story.
4. One book per author- This one needs a bit more explanation. As a participant, I ask you all to not submit the same book to multiple different reviewers of this book at the same time, or submit more than one of your works at once. Password is your favorite Disney movie.
5. Books only in English/Spanish- I can read a light amount of Spanish, so if your book is in Spanglish, you can apply for me to review your book. If any of the reviewers say they are comfortable with a foreign language other than English, you may apply with that language.
6. Fill out the form completely- Failure to do so will disqualify you.
7. Add this book to your public reading list- In order for people to find this review shop, I request that you add the book to your reading list. Adding it to your library is optional, but if you do, you will get a notification about your review being posted.
8. Do all of the things I state in the payments- This one is pretty self-explanatory.
9. Follow this account- I won't ask you to follow my personal account, but I request that you permanently follow this community's account.
10. When you get the review, thank the reviewer. At least respond to the chapter so we know that you have gotten the review, no matter if you liked the review or not. If you fail to do so, you will be blacklisted for wasting the reviewer's time.
