Paris was the city of romance, and I think that's why I loved it so much. Not the couples or the kissing, but the idea of people being in love. It really is beautiful.
Especially when I get to be the arm candy for rich men that despise their wives. Like Clarence Val, a man who is so rich and powerful that he could snap his fingers, and France would bend to his needs. He was careless and unwise. It was like giving a child money and power and expect them to govern, knowing that they know nothing about life. That was Clarence Val.
As I slipped on the diamond-studded heels, the doorbell rang. I knew it was him. I stood up and fixed my dress.
"It's open!" I yelled in my fake British accent. I stayed in Britain longer than I wanted to, so I picked up on the accents. Most of them were posh while others were southern. It fooled him enough to exactly think I was Britain.
He slipped into the room, wearing a suit and tie. At least, he clean up nice. He looked down at my dress and smirked. I returned the smile and handed my necklace to him. After he clipped the necklace together, he pushed his hands down my arms, straightening the straps on the dress out. He laid a kiss on my shoulder.

I turned to look at him. "Well, aren't we a sight for sore eyes?" I questioned, walking past him. I swayed my hips to give him a show. He whistles and I rolled my eyes. God, I hate men.
"How about we skip the party and just stay in?" He whispered as he wrapped his hand around my waist. His eyes stared into mine as he licked his lips. I shook my head and said, "This is a big event for you. You have to go. Who knows? It might be your last." I smiled and kissed his cheek. I walked to the living room and grabbed my purse and lipstick. I looked in the mirror to see Clarence sit on the couch. He leaned on the table and snorted a harsh white line. Then he sat back in the chair.
"Don't worry baby. I'm immortal."
If only.
The party was the same as all the other frat parties I've been to. Except this was filled with middle-aged white men bragging about what "bitch" they were taking home. If I could, I would have killed all of them. Sadly, I can not.
By the time I pulled Clarence from the party, he was trying to buy a business. I saved his ass from a stupid ass purchase, so at least I'm doing something good tonight.
He pushed me into the taxi as I tried getting the driver to take us straight home. I looked back at him with a snarl, but when he looked back, I showed a quick smile.
"A hole in the wall diner." He flashed a hundred in the driver's face and pushed me farther in the seat.
"I'm sure you don't need to eat anything else," He laughed. "I saw how you were at the table." He joked again.
I had one sandwich. The fuck is wrong with him?
I smiled and checked the time. I can't be out all night babysitting him.
