Y/N Y/L/N is ok with her life. She kills those who deserve it, and she protects those who can't protect themselves. Nothing can beat it.
Yet, when her latest recuse mission lands her on the Avenger's radar, she gets dragge...
Bullets began flying toward us not long after we stepped out of the room. I pushed Bucky away from me as I took cover behind a corner. Bucky did the same, looking me over. He asked, "Are you ok?"
As I looked around the corner, a bullet flew past me. "You know, I really hate being shot at," I murmured. "Take care of it then," Bucky said as he slid a gun into my hand. As I loaded the gun, I asked, "How about you?"
"It's alright, doll," He pulled the sleeve of his jacket off the metal arm. "You know how skilled I am with this hand." Bucky winked at me.
While he ran down the hallway, I fired bullets at anything that was near him. When I leaned up more, I shot the guy in the knee. Bucky then punched his face while he fell, sending him into the wall. After setting up and walking after Bucky, I took on as many guys as possible.
After Bucky had finished killing them all, I turned on my earpiece. "Guys, we had a problem. Donovan sent some goons after us."
Nat retorted, "It's not just Donovan's henchmen. The government just put you on a wanted list, as well as some agencies that were working with SHIELD. The price on your head is 2.1 million."
A stern look from Bucky met my eyes. As I reloaded the gun, I sighed sharply. "They aren't going to stop until they've arrested me or killed me." I sighed. In my ear, Sam said, "We're not going to turn you in."
"Make a plan, guys, because you have a lot more coming up these steps to get to you." I nodded and looked back at Bucky before looking at the window. The gap between the two buildings was the perfect height to jump over. Exactly what I needed.
"It's not that far a jump," I murmured, taking off my heels. As Bucky took the gun from my hand, he said, "We don't know how many people will be down there."
"I have no other choice."
Holding onto his earpiece, he nodded, "We'll see you guys later, okay?" Everyone murmured 'goodbyes' before Bucky and I took out our earpieces and stomped to the ground.
My eyes widened, I stared at him, "I don't need you to do this."
"You think I'm gonna let you go again?" Bucky cocked his gun. "No matter what happens, I'm right here with you." I nodded, then took off for the window. My elbow broke the glass and I made my way to the ledge. With a deep sigh, I began to float, making my way to the other side. As I landed gracefully, I turned to look at Bucky. He frowned and said, "Fun fact: I'm not able to do that."
I used my powers to bring him to my side of the building, "Stop moving or I'll drop you." I sat him down. In response, he asked, "What do we do next?" My powers helped me change the dress into something more active and basic.

I ran to the door on the top of the building and kicked it in. The knob went flying off, and I pulled Bucky inside with me. We went down the stairs and out onto the street. Yet, Bucky pulled me down a dark alley the second some people came passing by. I fell on his chest and covered my mouth. When they left, I leaned up.
