|Y/N|

It was two days before I left my room again, and it was definitely overdue. I felt burned out, and I would do anything for food. I stepped out of the room, making sure the coast was clear. I was beyond sure no one was awake at 3 in the morning.

Yet, as soon as I stepped foot in the kitchen, the lights turned on and a voice spoke to me. "Morning, ma'am," The refrigerator spoke with a female voice. "Mr. Stark had prepared dinner last night for you. He wasn't sure if you would eat with them." I was most likely taken back because I never saw such a thing, but if Tony was anything like his father, there would be weirder inventions around.

"He is also planning dinner tonight. Should I tell him you will be joining?" I opened the fridge and pulled out a plate labeled with my name. It was a couple of wings and homemade pizza.

"No. I won't be joining." I mumbled while heating the food in a microwave. I loved over the fridge again. "What's your name?"

"Friday, Standing for Female Replacement Intelligent Digital Assistant Youth. I'm here for everything you need." Friday's voice slurred for a second there. I pulled my food from the microwave and sat on the counter, eating.

"What's up with your voice?"

"It's nothing, Ms. Y/N. Mr. Stark is updating my system, and it's very tiring." I nodded and bit into the pizza.

"Are your systems failing?" I asked. Friday hummed. "If you want, I take a look at them for you," I smiled. "I'm pretty good with technology."

"Thank you. I'm sure Mr. Stark will be happy to see me fixed." I nodded and continued to eat. Friday and I talked for a while before I finished.

"How long are you planning to stay?" Friday asked. "I don't know yet. I just know I can't stay here." I mumbled as I turned the corner to the training room. Friday was helping me explore the building. In return, I'll look at her system.

"They aren't that bad," Friday said as I stepped into the training room. "If you get to know them, they might surprise you."

I shook my head. "I don't need to get to know them." I looked around the room, seeing nothing. It was just windows and a sound system. The walls were padded with soundproof foam, and in a corner, there was a small black box. I walked over to it, seeing a button. Like a child, I pressed it.

"Automatic Survival Mode. Loading." Friday said. I looked around the room as shades fell over the windows and the door locked. "Friday, what's this?" I questioned, but she didn't answer. I went for the door, but the box behind me started to make noise. I looked behind me to see the box growing legs. Then, it grew arms and head.

This is the weird invention I was talking about.

Standing to its feet, a large robot turned on, staring straight at me. "Friday, this isn't the time to break down," I mumbled. "Please don't try and kill me."

"Activating instant kill mode." I groaned. I'm tired, and I don't feel like doing this today. The robot began to make its way to me. I took a deep breath and sigh.

Suddenly, it threw a punch to my abdomen, throwing me back to the floor. I landed on my knees. You know, I could really use my powers right now. I stood back up and took off my jacket and slippers. I placed up my fist and went to throw punches at it but it dodged, kicking me in my back. I fell against the ground this time.

I stood again. It can't feel pain, but it can be shut down. I rolled back my shoulders and placed my hands up again. The robot threw a punch at me, and I dodged it. While its back was towards me, I pulled at the wires, but they didn't come out. The robot turned his head towards me.
