Darkness and silence filled the room. There was a dim light by the door, but I wasn't able to reach it because I was chained to the wall. When the door opened, I could tell if it was day or night, but they haven't come in for a while. No food. No water. No sunlight. I was all alone.

Leaving out a breath, my head sank, my eyes rolling to the back of my head. I was so tired. My throat was aching from screaming. From crying. Every breath I took felt like someone was running a knife against my lungs, pushing as hard as they could. Even my powers were useless. This stinger on the back of my neck sent 350 volts through me every time I tried.

From across the room, Bucky smiled at me, "Doll, just give in." Taking a seat and keeping his gaze on me, he continued, "If you don't, they'll kill you, or worse, they'll kill Carter."

"You're not real," I whispered as I gasped for air and looked him straight in the eyes. "I'm as real as you make me. Come on, give up. For me, please." I wanted to laugh in his face, but I physically couldn't. "You got me here. Remember? We could have been so good together."

"Really," I winced as Bucky touched my neck, "Don't pretend you love me while you plot your escape." Bucky sat up and looked me over. "Maybe I was pretending too. Who could love a monster like you?"

"I'm not a monster. I'm not a monster." I repeated to myself, but Bucky was gone. Nobody was here to hear me. I was alone.

Ice cold water was poured all over me. In a gasp, I looked around until I was faced with May. That bitch. "Morning, sunshine." I tried to calm my breathing, but the longer I looked at her, the angrier I got. When she stood, she asked: "Breakfast?" I gave her a wary look.

She sat down on a table and picked up a sausage, tossing it on the ground in front of me, "Fetch." She smirked, chomping down on her food. With heavy eyelids, I stared at her, "Let me out of these chains, and I'll do anything you want."

She pushed a button on the wall, summoning two strong men. "No," she said, sitting her plate down. "You'll do whatever I want anyway. You're used to it." She sat back down, eating her breakfast. They came by my side and unhooked me. Then, another brought in an electric chair. Kicking my legs, I leaned against the wall. "Stop moving, bitch," May said to me firmly. She slapped me before pulling me by the hair to the chair.

My hands were tied down to the handles of the chair by the men who pushed me down in it. They strapped my feet down and then my head. May held my mouth open while someone placed a mouth guard inside. "Bite. This is gonna hurt."

A bolt of electricity shook my body with more than 500 volts in an instant. Each one of them flowed through my veins, down to my fingertips and toes, and out to the ends of my hair. When the bolts finally stopped, May marked something down on her notebook. I sighed and lead my head back.

"Come on, doll," Bucky said from behind May, "let go." I bit down on the mouth guard and groaned. He smirked and stepped closer, "You might think you're bad, but they're gonna find your daughter and kill her. Or worse. She'll end up like you."

The muscles in my body contracted against one another. As the bolts continued, my vision went grey and blurry. "Great, now listen closely, Желание (longing), ржавый (rusted),"

My head rocked by itself as my fingers gripped the chair, scraping the wood with my fingernails. I breathed out a sigh as the lights flicked around me. "That's it. Ok, семнадцать (seventeen). Pассвет (daybreak)."
