Tony almost kicked in the door, announcing our arrival with it. He threw his hands in the air as everyone walked over to us.

"You guys ok?" Nat asked like a worried mother. Sam decided to be dramatic, "Actually, no. I think my wrist is broken."

"Your head hurts too." Sam turned to asked what I meant, but I hit the back of his head quickly. "See, it hurts. Doesn't it?" I walked away and into the kitchen, where Bucky was. He had his back to me, sighing heavily.

I walked over to him, placing my hand in his back, and watched as he turned to me. He gave me a small smile as I sat down in the chair in front of him.

"Merry Christmas, Doll." He took my hands in his right hand. "I seriously thought you would spend Christmas in a cell."

I huffed and leaned back, "Wouldn't be the first time." Bucky hummed, "Another thing I didn't know about it."

I glanced off before sighing. It was time to clear the air, and I had plenty of time to think about how to do it. I was sorry about it. Just sorry about how it happened, and he needs to know.

"To set the record straight, Zemo and I didn't like each other. That "relationship" was everything but that. I didn't care about him the way that I care you." I stopped for a moment, catching my breath. "I care about you a lot, and I don't think it's because we were friends in the 40s." I let out a giggle, "I like being here with you. I like not running away."

Bucky grinned and kissed my hand, "I've spent the last year here, and I never felt this happy. I never felt this good someone." He smiled and kiss my cheek sheepishly. I chuckled and sat back in a sigh.

"Well, it is Christmas Day, so when do you want your gift?" He asked, smirking.

I shook my head, "Whenever."

Bucky nodded and then stood from his chair, "Stay here. It's pretty big." I laughed and nodded. Then, he walked down the hall and opened a door. I could him shuffling before he leaned his head around the corner, "Question: what if it's annoying?"

He winced in pain as he was pushed to the other side. Then, Carter stepped out with a smile. "Hi, Ma." I stood from my chair and hugged her. She squeezed me back and giggled. "When did you get here?"

"Maria kidnapped me and told Dad I had a school trip. So, he thinks that I'm on a trip for a week." She spilled. I laughed and shook my head, "I'm not saying you're a good liar and that you should continue but good job." I hugged her again. "Tony gave her her own room for when she comes and stays," Bucky said, leaning against the doorway. "And he's promising to teach me how to shoot a gun." Carter added.

"No." I shook my head and stared at Bucky, who threw his hands up in defense. "She said she was gonna bully me if I didn't. I afford to lose any lunch money, Y/N." Bucky joked. I rolled my eyes and walked into the lounge room with everyone else. Carter followed behind me. I sat down beside Vision as Carter sat between Wanda and Nat. She was already best friends with them.

"Who's the kid?" Sam asked, squinting his eyes at her. "I'm Carter, Y/N's daughter." Sam nodded and smiled, "I should have known with that big head." I flipped him off as Carter laugh, "Sir, worry about that receding hairline." Steve snickered as I covered my laugh with a cough. Sam laughed and mumbled something under his breath. "I'm gonna go to bed before I fight a kid."

Carter managed to wake me up at 12:00 pm, jumping on the bed and smiling at me. "You basically slept your life away, Ma." She groaned. I sighed and rubbed my eyes, "I would like to continue, Cee."

She shook her head and pulled me back up, groaning as she tried to lift me. Finally, I stood from the bed and walked into the bathroom. Then, I got dressed.
