Over the last four days, I've finished all the books that were on my small shelf. When I wasn't reading, I spent my time talking to FRIDAY, fixing her, and making improvements. I haven't left my room since the mission, not wanting to confront whatever happened.

I ended up putting Sophie in the hospital because she kept saying I was with Hydra. I should have kept my mouth shut and let it roll off my back, but she needed to be put in her place.

I placed the tools on the desk and moved back some. "Friday, run a system scan," I said. "Everything should be in place."

My room lit up in green and yellow. "Everything's fine. If I could feel, I would say I'm feeling amazing." I chuckled and turned on my lights. "How long will the update take?"

"Just under 4 hours. Nothing that I haven't prepared for." I nodded and laid down on my bed. My mind was swirling with questions and thoughts about the mission.

"Friday," Friday buzzed and confirmed. "Can you look up my name through Shield's files?"

After a minute, Friday buzzed back through. "Nothing came up except for a couple of images of you and something about explosions. It said that Bucky and Steve should have more information."

I nodded, "Thanks. Finish your update." I stared up at my ceiling until a knock came on my door. I stood and open it, seeing Sam with a shit-eating grin on his face. "Tony and Steve cooked dinner."

"What's that got to do with me?" I asked, shutting my door until he placed his foot in it. I pulled the door back and looked at him. "Come down. I haven't seen you eat in a couple of days. Plus, everybody wants you there." I rolled my eyes and whispered, "Fine. Give me a minute." I mumbled, shutting the door in his face. "Ok! I'll be right here!" He yelled outside the door. I shook my head and started trying to tame my hair. After a while, I sighed and decided I couldn't do anything with it. So, I put the moisturizer in it and let it stay in its natural state.

Then, I picked out a comfortable outfit

I opened up the door to see Sam playing on his phone. He looked me up and down, "You look good." I rolled my eyes. "Keep your eyes up."

"Oh, my bad. I forgot you were Bucky's woman." I looked over at him. "You know I can push you down these stairs, and no one would know a thing." Sam laughed and pulled me into the dining room. The only open seat was beside Bucky, and when I realized it, everyone looked back at me. I sighed and sat down.
