As soon as Bucky moved his hand from my waist, I rose from the bed. I picked up some shorts and slipped them on.

After stretching a little, I put Bucky's clothes in a bin. Then, I stuffed some of my clothes into it. My basket rested on my hip as I walked out of the room. I shut the door behind me.

As soon as I reached the laundry room, I started to load the washer with our clothes. Then, the door opened. Steve stepped through was his own laundry basket. By then, I had moved out of the way and had returned to my phone. He yawned, saying, "Good morning."

"Morning."

"Guess you and I had the same idea. Laundry day can be pretty crazy." Steve mumbled, taking some clothes and placing them in the other washer. I hummed, "Yeah, I heard about that fight between you and Nat. Something about her shrinking your shirts?" I questioned.

He laughed, "She did it on purpose."

"I guess Bucky was too tired to wash his own." He pointed out, kicked a long sleeve red shirt handing out the basket.

"Yep, after that mission I wanted him to sleep in. Speaking of which, how was it?" Steve sighed and scratched the back of his neck. He began, "I knew we could escape, but it seemed like they kept getting worse. We didn't see the light for days."

"What was it about?" The washer chirped as I asked. "The rest of us were left in the dark." After walking over to it, I threw the clothes into the dryer. Then, I placed more clothes in the washer.

Steve huffed, "We were moving hostages from the city and into shelters set up by SHIELD." I nodded and sat down on the folding counter. "6 months was a long time for that. Something didn't go according to plan?"

An ugly bruise could be seen on Steve's stomach when he lifted his shirt. "It hurts. I can't even lay on my right side. I held up my hand. "I can help you. Heal its pain." Steve shook his head, "I already took him painkillers."

"We're both super soldiers. If pain medicine doesn't work on me, it most certainly won't work on you." He smirked and nodded, deciding to stand and walk to me.
