A little girl was walking down the street to go to the park. She wanted to play with the children who were there. She went alone, because her mother had stayed in a coffee shop chatting with some friends, and the little one got bored during the long conversations they had.

She was smiling, jumping as she headed to her destination, chasing a little kitten that had crossed her path. She was only 8 years old.

-Come here, kitty! -the kid said, laughing tenderly. And the animal didn't stop running, trying not to fall into the girl's hands. It was then that she, moving away from the path that took her to the park, began to walk through less crowded streets, tirelessly chasing the cat.

She passed a closed shop, and on a step at the entrance was a man sitting who kept an eye on her as she passed. He stubbed out his cigarette by squeezing it against the ground, and he got up, putting on his sunglasses and starting to chase the girl. Unconsciously, she was running with her short legs with the joy in her body. It was then that the cat climbed up a small house, jumping, and the girl stood still waiting for it to come out of its hiding place.

-Come on, pussycat, I'm not going to do anything to you, let's play -the kid said with joy in her voice.

The man was slowly approaching her and, suddenly, he bent quickly to pick her up, trying to take the girl as fast as he could to a place away, away from the curious glances that should not rest on them. The girl began to scream when she felt that her feet stopped touching the ground and that a man she didn't know was taking her away.

Fili walked down the street carefree after leaving home. He was on his way to go to the shop. That day he was not in a very good mood, he had gotten angry with his uncle and, as expected, he always loses arguments, especially when Dwalin didn't support him. He felt a bit misunderstood so, apart from going to buy something, he decided to go out for a walk to relax.

The blond passed by a park, heading towards the outskirts of the city. He crossed the road, his hands shoved into the pockets of his coat. Small drops of water fell from the sky, and they didn't go unnoticed by him.

He passed near a small house, where a gray cat was licking its paws without paying attention to anyone or anything, on top of the roof. At the end of that street, there was a shop where he wanted to go to buy those things that he needed. He was passing the little house when he began to hear a child cry. A girl was crying on his right. Fili saw a man carrying her in his arms. At first the blond thought that the man would be her father and that the girl just complained, but soon after Fili saw that the man began to mistreat her and that he threw her to the ground, it was then that his protective instincts came to light. He hurried over to them, seeing the man trying to unbutton his pants.

-Hey! What are you doing!? Leave her alone -He screamed, running towards them, until he finally arrived. As expected, the man confronted him, but Fili was not afraid of his attacks, a girl was in danger and she needed him more than ever.

-What has that girl done to you? Are you mad or what? -He asked.

-Shut up and go away, you fool -the man replied. Then he decided to punch Fili's face.

Fili, with his reflexes, dodged the attack and counterattacked, kicking him in his legs and causing the man to fall on the ground. The blonde looked around and saw a small tree trunk resting in the grass. That man had no intention of reasoning and that girl was not going to end well if he left her with the man. Then, gripping the log tightly, Fili went up to the man and hit him hard on his head, rendering him unconscious on the ground. Fili grabbed the girl in his arms, running away from there to put her in a safe place.
