"Listen, we've discovered two of the targets. It's two students named Kachaan and Y/N. Kachan and Y/N should avoid combat and stick to a group. I hope you can hear me."
Up to this point, Denki was nervous but he felt mostly confident that Y/n would be fine. She had a strong quirk that she had complete control over. He did not doubt that she could take care of herself. It was one of the many things he loved about her. This last message from Mandalay however made him pale and he wanted to throw up. This was not part of the plan that was shared with him.
Denki's instincts told him to leave his current position and go protect her. He couldn't just leave her there. He knew at least one of the villains in the forest and he knew that Dabi was probably ready to pounce on her the minute he saw her.
He looks around the room and knows that the 1-B teacher Vlad King is not simply going to let him walk out the door. He debates for a moment going out the window. As he continues to analyze his options he feels a hand on his shoulder. He turns around to see Kirishima. He has a worried look on his face.
"You want to go out there don't you?"
Denki doesn't respond he looks at the floor with his hand balled into a fist at his side.
"I get it, man. I do too. I can't just sit here knowing that they're after Bakugo."
Denki unclenches his fist and looks at Kirishima.
"I don't know what to do, but I know I can't let them take her," Denki responds.
Kirishima gives him a determined look. He rushes to the door to try to leave and Denki is directly behind him. Unfortunately for them, Vlad King is blocking the exit with no intentions of moving.
"COME ON! You heard what she said, didn't you? I can't let them get my friend," shouts Kirishima.
Denki stands behind him with his arms folded as he adds his opinion as well.
"And I can't let them get my girlfriend!"
The pair look at each other and nod their head in agreement as they yell in unison.
"You gotta let us go find them, please!"
Vlad King stands firmly at the door not willing to budge an inch. It seems their pleas were falling on deaf ears.
"Not a chance."
Denki clenches his jaw in response. Typical response from a teacher he thinks.
"But why not?" the fired-up redhead yells.
Mina senses that their frustration as she places a hand on both of their shoulders. Lida and some of the other students in the room try to reason that it would make sense to go and help the other students in the woods, but Denki at this point had fallen silent. He knew it was pointless. The pros weren't going to allow any other students to risk their lives if it was at all possible. All Denki could do at the moment was sit and wait. It was pissing him off.
After a few moments, they hear a noise from outside the room. They assume that it's Mr. Aizawa coming back from outside to let them know what's happening. Kirishima starts to walk to the door once again eager to speak with his teacher.
"Finally, he'll understand." Kirishima states.
Vlad raises his arm in front of the redhead.
"No, wait."
The pro hero looks at the door suspiciously as a figure approaches. They can see in the window that it was not Mr. Aizawa. Vlad King yells for everyone to move away from the door, and as soon as the words leave his mouth a burst of flames engulfs the room. The class is unharmed as they were pushed back slightly by the gust of the flames.
