Denki walks down the street with a bookbag filled with an assortment of clothing and he carries bags filled with whatever groceries he could find at Seven-Eleven. He's pissed and worried about Y/N. He hasn't had a chance to call her or see her since she was rescued. As soon as the incident had ended he received a phone call from Mr. Compress. He gave him a list of items they needed and told him that he should be thankful that it was him that called and not Shigaraki. He can hear Shigaraki in the background hissing that if he doesn't show then he can say goodbye to Y/N.

He continues down the street making sure the hood on his sweatshirt is covering his hair. Denki makes his way down a few alleyways as he makes his way to the address that he was given. He fumes about the situation. There's nothing he can do, but he wishes he could be elsewhere. Y/N needs him and yet here he is letting her down again. Honestly, he was over this entire thing. His chest yearns to be normal and not do the bidding of criminals. Then it dawns on him. He's a criminal. He has no right to talk about being above this situation. He willingly decided to participate in these activities, and now he's paying the price. There's no happy ending for him at this point.

He sighs as he approaches the run-down building. He does as instructed and sends a text to Mr. Compress letting him know he's at the door. They were adverse to someone knocking on the door at the moment. Denki stands and waits until he can hear footsteps approach. The door opens and he can see Dabi standing and holding his head. He doesn't say a word as he leaves the door open and walks away. Denki follows the villain down a hall and into a living room. There's an old sofa where Twice, Toga, and Magne sit looking worse for wear. He glances to a dining area connected to the living room and sees Shigaraki sitting at the table staring at nothing. He looks defeated. It was almost sad if he wasn't such an asshole.

"Did you bring everything on the list?" Mr. Compress asks.

Denki sits bags on the table and starts to empty the backpack.

"I picked up everything on the list that I could. I could only carry so much. The food should be enough for the next couple of days and I tried to get clothes at a local thrift shop, but the selection wasn't great."

Mr. Compress thanks him and starts to look through the items. Dabi sits in a chair in a corner. He looks like he's in just as bad a mood as Shigaraki. Denki doesn't care. He could give two shits at this point. He just wants to leave.

"I brought everything. I'm heading out."

He makes his way to the door when he hears a voice.

"They took Kurogiri and Master."

Denki stops. He's not quite sure what he's expected to say about that. Maybe it was rhetorical?

"I'm sorry. I know they're important to you." He replies in an unsure voice.

Shigaraki stands up and makes his way towards Denki.

"Bakugo and your girlfriend got away, but I'm sure you know that."

The blonde shrinks down into himself. His boss was intimidating on a normal day. This was bone-chilling. There was malice in his voice. The statement was meant to show the parallel between the two who were captured and the two who are now free. The comparison made Denki swallow nervously. His mouth had never felt so dry. He's not sure where this conversation is going but at the moment it wasn't good.

After a moment of eerie quiet Shigarki walks past Denki and makes his way to an empty armchair. He sits down haphazardly and brings one of his legs over the other. His ankle resting on the opposite knee. He looks up at Denki.

"You know out of the two Y/N seemed the most willing to join. You were right about Bakugo. We should have just focused on her."

The statement made him uneasy. What does this mean for the future? Were they going to target her again? He wasn't sure but at the moment all he wants is to leave and see her. See what they did. He was in the dark on her condition. It made him sick to his stomach.
