Walking past the entrance to UA, Denki and Y/N made their way to get ice cream at a nearby park. They walked down the street in awkward silence. The couple had managed to reconcile during the sport's festival, but at this point, neither one knows where they stand with the other. Y/N decides to break the silence first.
"I'm not surprised that Bakugo had won. I think you've said before he's really driven. I just still don't understand why he acts like a crazy person. I mean they had to use restraints on him. What the hell?"
Denki laughed thankful for the break-in silence.
"Yeah, there's not a real good excuse for that. I've said it before, and I'll say it again he has the personality of crap steeped in sewage. It's a known fact."
Y/N giggled, and Denki smiled. He was happy to hear her laugh again. Y/N hears a text notification on her phone. It was from Shinso.

Y/N has an idea about what Shinso wants to talk about. It's more than likely about what he said before her fight with Denki. He said that both he and the electric blonde wanted the same thing from her. She wasn't sure how to respond to that. Y/N had never taken the time to consider Shinso as more than a friend.
"Sunshine?"

"Earth to Y/N."
The h/c haired girl looked up into concerned honey-colored eyes.
"Are you okay? I said that we're here, but you just stared into space."
Embarrassment quickly made Y/N's cheeks redden. She didn't even realize how deep in thought she had become.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to do that."
Denki observed the h/c haired girl in front of him. He was curious as to what caused her to become so pensive.
"Everything okay? You can talk to me. You know that, right?"
Y/N smiled softly at Denki. She appreciated the concern he had towards her, but discussing Shinso with him probably wasn't the best idea.
"I know. It's just been a long day I think."
Denki smiled back and wrapped his arm around Y/N's shoulder as they approached the shop. Feeling a sense of security from the gesture Y/N leaned her head down to his shoulder. It was calming after the stressful day the couple had shared.
After they ordered they made their way to the park and took a seat on a nearby bench. Y/N was enjoying her treat and decided to start a conversation.
"Mr. Aizawa said that we might get internship offers. I wonder if either of us will get any."
Denki took a bite of his icecream and responded.
"I'm sure you will. You have an awesome quirk and you made it pretty far in the competition. I short-circuited in the cavalry battle and looked like a moron. I hope it doesn't affect any offers."
