Denki, Don't Do This Please

Scared?

Standing in the tunnel leaning against a wall Y/N sees Shinso exit the arena and head over in her direction. She wasn't sure what to expect since he did lose.

When Shinso sees the h/c haired girl waiting for him he jogs over to her and picks her up in a hug. He sets her down and she unexpectedly sees a soft smile on his face.

"You look good for someone who just lost."

Shinso's smile remains on his face as he responds.

"I know, but you didn't hear what the crowd was saying as I walked out."

A smile appeared on Y/N's face, and she knew that the crowd's response must have been positive to elicit such a reaction.

"I may not have made it today, but I'll still find my way to the hero course. Also, you need to teach that Midoryia kid how to keep his guard up. He's too easy."

Y/N chuckles and looks into the beautiful amethyst eyes in front of her. He looked content and happy which is what she wants for her friend who has struggled with the perception of his quirk for so long.

"Is this your entrance for your match, too?"

Y/N took a deep breath before responding.

"It is. He's mad at me. So, this will be an interesting match."

Shinso furrowed his brow.

"Did he say something to you? I told you I'd kick his ass if he did."

Y/N sighed thinking about the hurtful things Denki had said to her about her friend who was standing before her.

"He said a few things out of anger and possibly jealousy. I'm pretty upset with him. I know I've been standoffish, but the remarks were uncalled for."

Shinso tilted his head and the corners of his lips turn upward.

"Jealousy? Who did he have to be jealous of?"

Rolling her eyes, she responded to the lavender hair teen.

"I have been around you an awful lot today, and it was during your match we had an argument. I'm not confirming it was about you, but I think you have an idea."

Shinso gave a satisfied smirk.

"Good, he should be jealous. Do you know why?"

Quirking her eyebrow, she looks at Shinso with a confused look. He bends down close to Y/N's ear and whispers.

"Because we want the same thing."

Y/N's eyes widen and a blush spreads across her face. Shinso backs away slightly looking at his friend in from of him. She looks into his eyes and she can see that he is being serious with his words. He leans in close to her face.

*SWOOSH*

The couple is knocked apart from each other. The stadium feels like it's being affected by an earthquake. Looking at each other they head over towards the tunnel entrance and see a giant sheet of ice.

Y/N looks at the scene before her, and it oddly looks familiar. Just as in her dream Todoroki had sent poor Sero into a wall of ice. She realizes what has happened and she feels a sense of panic set in.

She looks towards Shinso.

"This happened in my dream."

Amethyst eyes look towards the sheet of ice.

"That's a big fucking coincidence."

Y/N stared at the ice formation and at Sero who was being defrosted by Todoroki.
