**Listen. I know I usually place a gif for the chapter, but this is the most beautiful manga panel of Denki in existence. I blessed your eyes today, and you are welcome.**

Staring at the book in front of him Denki wasn't doing much studying. His mind was preoccupied with other things. He had to meet with Shigaraki tomorrow evening and he wasn't looking forward to it. The review of the sport's festival would likely take a while, and he was praying that his crusty boss would be in a good mood.

"Denki, are you listening to me?"

Pulled from his thoughts he looks at Y/N. She has a slightly irritated look on her face.

"Uh, what was that, Sunshine?"

Y/N sighed.

"I said do you understand the problem better now?"

Looking down at what they had been working on, he reviews the question. He knew the answer easily.

"Hmm, I think I need to review it again. It's not really clicking for me."

He placed a hand to the back of his neck nervously as he could tell that Y/N's patience was wearing thin.

"I think half of your problem is not paying attention. So, this time listen to me as I explain it again."

Denki looked at Y/N as she spoke. He wasn't listening to her words. He didn't have to, but it was nice to have a reason to look at her pretty face. Her nose crinkled in frustration when she was trying to explain the more difficult parts, and her cheeks would puff out when she had about enough. 'Cute,' he said to himself with a goofy grin on his face.

"Okay, now walk me through this next problem to show me you know what you're doing."

"Huh? Oh! Yeah, okay."

Denki walked her through the problem without any issues. She had a smile on her face when he was finished and provided the right answer.

"Great! It took a minute, but it looks like you caught on. I think we could probably stop now. We've gone over the bulk of the material."

Denki nodded his head in acknowledgment, as the pair stood up and walked towards the kitchen to get some water. While Y/N grabbed some glasses from the cabinet Denki decided to ask a question.

"Did your parents call and congratulate you on the sport's festival? You did make it pretty far."

Y/N looked at the straw blonde before responding.

"My mom called me. She had seen it on TV. She said she was proud of me. I haven't heard from my dad, but that's not unusual."

Denki frowned at the response. Her parents were a piece of work. His dad called him after the festival was over to tell him he was proud of him, and his mom took him out for dinner yesterday evening. He felt Y/N's parents took her for granted. They could have a kid who acts out because they don't get attention, but they won the lottery with Y/N.

"Well, at least your mom called," Denki replied.

"Yeah, we didn't talk long, but it was still nice to have some recognition of my existence."

She missed her parents. They were both still out of town on business trips. She wondered if they thought about her while they were gone. Probably not for the most part.

Denki sensed that he maybe shouldn't have mentioned her parents. It seemed to have brought her mood down considerably. He then had an idea that might make her feel better.

"Hey! Let's go out. We've been here most of the day. I have somewhere I want to take you, okay?."

Y/N looked at the blonde with interest. She wasn't sure what he had in mind, but they had been studying most of the day. Getting some fresh air and away from the house for a while seemed like a good idea.

"Sure we can go out. Can you tell me where we're going?"

The electric blonde smiled at the girl as they started out the door towards their destination.

"Nope. It's a surprise, Sunshine, but I think you'll like it."

They made their way towards the mystery destination. The place wasn't terribly far from the house, but it did involve a short train ride and roughly a ten-minute walk from the station. As they grew closer to the location the sun was starting to set. The sky had started to fade away from its traditional blue, and turn into burnt orange and red. The clouds in the sky that once appeared white had developed a beautiful purple color with pink highlights where the rays of sunlight hit them.

"So, once we reach the top of this hill, we'll be there," Denki stated.

Approaching the top of the hill Y/N can see that the location is meant to be an overlook of the city. They made their way to the grass and took a seat next to each other.

Looking out over the top she can see most of Mustafu and the ocean that borders the city.  The sun was setting over the ocean and lights from the city had started to turn on in the twilight hours. The site was stunning and took her breath away.

"What do you think?"

A smile had appeared on her face as she continued to look at the scenic view before her in awe. Denki on the other hand could care less about the sunset that was in front of him. He was more concerned with the look on Y/N's face. She was far more beautiful and interesting to him than anything else the world could offer. Her eyes sparkled like stars in the night sky and the light from the setting sun made her face glow as she took in the view. She was perfect to him.

"Denki, thank you for bringing me here. This is so pretty."

The straw blonde leaned over to her side and spoke quietly towards the girl.

"It's not nearly as pretty as you, Y/N."

The h/c hair girl turned her head to face him. She kept a soft smile on her face as she leaned forward and placed a gentle kiss on his lips. After a moment, they stopped and Y/N could feel Denki's lips form a smile against her own. He pressed his lips against hers once more before they separated.

"You know I like you a lot, right?" Denki asked.

Nodding her head up and down slowly she made eye contact with the blonde.

"You said you liked me the other night. Is that still true?"

"I really do," she softly responds still looking into his honey-colored eyes.

Denki smiles at her response and proceeds.

"Then I'd like to ask you to be my girlfriend."

Now staring back out at the setting sun which has almost completely disappeared, she thinks about this moment and all the others she's had with him so far. He made her happy, and she wanted to continue feeling that way with him.

"I"d like that a lot."
