Shigaraki and Denki sat at the bar reviewing the information on the sports festival. Kurogiri stood behind the bar quietly cleaning glasses and listening to the conversation.

Denki told him about the rivalries between Bakugo, Midoryia, and Todoroki. There was definitely a lot of drama that circled these three during the events, and Denki had tried to eavesdrop as much as possible. He probably didn't catch all the details because he was dealing with his own drama at the time.

He also mentioned a couple of students who they might want to learn more about. The first student was Monoma Neito. He was in class 1-B and could copy other people's quirks. He was interesting because he wants to be a hero, but the vendetta he has against Denki's class is impressive. It was almost villainous. Denki had noticed specifically the dark aura and maniacal laughing that he often used when addressing people from 1-A.

The other student was Y/N's close friend Shinso Hitoshi. He was of interest because of his quirk. It could be extremely useful for a villain or a hero. He wasn't in the hero course, but he felt they still needed to be aware of him. Shigaraki even suggested that they might even be able to convince him to change sides because he wasn't able to qualify for the hero course.

"What is next for your class then?"

"We have internships starting next week. It's only for one week then we go back to regular classes. Students are scouted at the sport's festival and pro heroes make offers to them. I had the fifth-highest amount of offers in the class. The top results went to Todoroki and Bakugo," Denki calmly explained.

"How many did the Midoryia brat get?"

Denki had to go through his notes for a minute. He didn't get his boss' obsession with the green-haired classmate. He assumes it's because his quirk has similarities to All Might. Regardless it was still weird and Denki felt that Midoryia seemed kind of boring and plain to him.

"Uh, he had zero. So, he will have to pick from a general list because we all do the internships whether we had offers or not."

Shigaraki was somewhat pleased to hear the annoying brat hadn't received any offers. He was sure it probably depressed Midoryia to get so far in the competition and have no one want him.

"Make sure you find out who he goes with."

"Will do," Denki responded.

Shigaraki scratched his neck. There wasn't much to be done currently with the UA students. He also had a meeting with the Hero Killer Stain at the same time as their internships that his Master had set up. He thought the meeting would be pointless, but he wouldn't question All for One and his motives.

"Choose the highest-ranked pro for your internship. Gather as much intel on the office as you can. Look for anything of value to report. Also, make note of where all of your classmates go, not just Midoryia."

These were the little things that bothered Denki. He didn't get a lot of choices in his decisions. Sometimes his life didn't feel like his own anymore, but these are the consequences of his actions.

"Understood. Anything else we need to discuss?"

The light blue-haired male looked at Denki and responded.

"What's going on with your girlfriend?"

Denki internally cringed at the question. It didn't use to be an issue, but now he had real feelings towards Y/N. He wanted to talk as little about her as possible to the League.

"We've made a lot of progress. We just became exclusive."

Shigaraki had seen Y/N's performance at the sport's festival. Her quirk was quite impressive to him. It had inspired a new idea for the electric blonde's little pet.

"I think you made an excellent choice for a girlfriend. She has a strong quirk like you. Maybe you should start planting certain ideas into her head now that you've gained her trust."

The straw-haired blonde looked confused. He knew what his boss was implying, but that was different than what they had decided the role of his girlfriend would be.

"I don't think that's a good idea. The idea was to have someone innocent to be able to vouch for me if there was suspicion thrown my way. Recruiting her compromises that. "

A menacing smile appeared on Shigaraki's face.

"True but plans often change. I think she could be a valuable member of our team. The important part is that you seem important to each other. They won't suspect two traitors, and I say the more the merrier. Besides, I like stealing innocence from the unknowing. It's like a side quest from the actual game."

Denki felt his heart sink into his stomach. The smile on Shigaraki's face was unnerving. He doesn't want to involve Y/N. It was too dangerous, and he hates that he ever had the stupid girlfriend idea to begin with.

"What's the matter, Kaminari? Have you lost track of your ideals? You know, I'm asking you to do this more for you than for me."

Denki looked at Shigaraki with confusion once again. He wasn't sure what he meant by "this was for him".

"Remember, when we change hero society everyone will have to choose a side. This is just giving Y/N a head start on choosing the right side. Your side."

The blonde grimaced at the comment but knew on some level he was right. At some point, everyone must choose a side, but he still wanted Y/N to be safe.

"I'm not sure I could sway her to our side. It would be tricky."

He wasn't lying. She has a strong set of values and convincing her those ideas are wrong would be difficult.

"I'm sure you can be creative and find a way. Play to her weaknesses. You said she has issues with her parents? Use that. Make her dependent on you and try to make her resent them as much as possible."

Playing with her emotions is not something he wants to do. He hates everything about this plan. What the hell is he supposed to do? He at least had time to figure it out. Shigaraki knows this would take a while to accomplish. He would need to play along for the time being though.

"Okay, I'll do what I can. Maybe I can start mentioning the hero killer Stain to her as well."

The pale man scratching his neck smiled creepily towards Denki.

"See? I knew you were smart."

After the conversation ended Denki left the bar leaving Shigaraki and Kurogiri alone.

The man made of black mist decided to speak.

"Do you think that the boy has developed feelings for the girl? He seemed overly hesitant to comply which is unlike him."

Shigaraki took out his playing cards and started dealing them out for a game of Solitaire.

"He does and it's painfully obvious after that conversation. No matter. He'll either convince her to join or at some point we'll end up having to kill her. He's a smart kid, and he knows that. His disgusting feelings should motivate him more to try to have her join us."

Kurogiri observed Tomura. The male could be impulsive, but he did have good decision-making skills when he wanted.

"I believe master will be impressed with the actions you took today," Kurogiri stated.
