Y/N looked around the room that she and Bakugo had been placed in after their abduction by the League of Villains. Their mobility was highly limited considering they had them strapped to chairs back to back with their hands in incased of quirk canceling cuffs. The room itself was barren and mostly dark except for the UV light directly above them that kept flickering on and off. The pair hadn't spoken to each other, but only because they were both too lost in thought. Y/N sighs staring at the ceiling as she decides to talk to her new roommate.

"What do you think they want with us? They just left us in here. Hostages maybe?" she asks.

Even if Bakugo wouldn't admit it he was glad that Y/N had started talking. He hated that they had both been taken, but at least neither one of them had to endure this alone.

"Who fucking cares? I just want to get the hell out of here. They made a mistake picking me to kidnap. I'll blow all their asses up when I get the chance."

Y/N rolled her eyes thinking that his response wasn't helpful in the least bit.

"We need to know their motives Bakugo. We need to know how much danger we're in. If they need us as hostages, well, If it came down to it they only really need one, don't they?"

Bakugo's eyes had widened at her comment. He hadn't thought of that possibility.

"What other reason do you think they would have, Flareon?"

Y/N raises her eyebrow in confusion and processes the new nickname.

"Did you just call me a pokemon?"

Bakugo tch's, "You're dating Discount Pikachu. Seemed appropriate to call you by a Pokemon too. I could call you Flame Bitch like normal if it's an issue."

She shakes her head in disbelief.

"You could learn my name, but I'll take this as an upgrade since you dropped the curse word," she replies.

In honesty, he had changed her nickname because he chose to accept her as part of their friend group now that she and Kaminari were obviously stupid over each other. It seems like she would be around for a while. He also felt she was more tolerable than other classmates.

"Are you going to answer my original question?" Bakugo huffed out, tired of the nickname topic.

"I don't know. If it was just you, they might have found your behavior at the Sport's Festival appealing for membership. Like, they scouted you out. With me though I don't even know how they knew I existed. I haven't done anything to stand out as your temper did during the awards ceremony."

Bakugo gave an annoyed tsk. In his mind, he hadn't acted that poorly. He just didn't feel like he had truly won against Icy Hot.

"If that's their plan then they're wrong. I want to be the number one hero, not the number one villain."

Y/N gave a small smile as she thought about Bakugo's words. Say what you might, but she fully believes that he would never become a villain.

They hear a noise at the door. Someone was twisting the handle to enter. The pair prepare themselves for whatever would happen next.

Unable to do anything else Y/N starts picking at a hangnail on her thumb with her forefinger out of nerves. As the door opens she sees a figure enter the room. She recognized the figure immediately. It was the villain named Dabi that had her and Bakugo by the neck when they left.

"Guess what, Sweetheart?"

Y/N's face scrunches into one of disgust. The term of endearment only pissed her off.
