Denki Kaminari was deep in thought thinking of the recent events in his life. He had become entangled with the League of Villains when he was being bullied in middle school.

"I should be able to keep my cover going. No one suspected me during the USJ attack as being a traitor. I was able to convince them that I couldn't get a radio connection to the outside. Connections were jammed that was the truth, but they don't need to know that I was the reason they were jammed. It could be any one of those other villains who came for the attack. I just need to keep playing my part."

He thought back to when he first encountered the leader of the group.

Denki felt hopeless trying to defend himself as he walked home. Another day where he had been bullied. His quirk was strong, but others were stronger and more controlled. He was picked on day in and day out. As he left school heading for his home a boy with light blue hair and ruby eyes who was only a few years older than him approached him from a nearby alley.

"Aren't you tired of feeling weak? Do you want to continue to wallow in self-pity? I saw what happened earlier. I can help you." The boy looked at Denki with red eyes while scratching his neck.

"I don't know who you are, but I'm not weak. I'm going to show them I'm strong by becoming a hero." Denki replied with confidence.

"A hero? Aren't those bully's going to be heroes too? They'll continue to be alongside you as you fight towards your pointless goal. They'll continue to do things like bully those weaker than them, but then justify it because they have power and influence as a hero. Do you think that all heroes are virtuous? Surely, you're not that naïve." The boy said staring at Denki studying his reaction to his statement.

Denki took a minute before responding. He did want to become a hero. He wanted to fight for those who couldn't fight for themselves. He struggled with bullies who were bigger and stronger. Their quirks were stronger than his as well. The boy before him wasn't wrong. He had similar goals to his classmates. It wouldn't be fair if these people who tormented him became heroes as well. They didn't deserve to have that title, but Denki also knew the world wasn't fair. Those with the most power would end up on top. He realized that the words that were spoken to him were true.

"How can you help me?" Denki asked in a curious tone. The man in front of Denki smirked as he knew he had won over the boy in front of him. "I can help you take down those false heroes and give you the power to be at the top. My name is Shigaraki Tomura and I'm with the League of Villains." Shigaraki replied with a mischievous look in his eyes.

Denki returned his thoughts to the present. He had become a traitor to the hero society. His goal had changed to one of revenge and justice. He wanted those who abused their power to have equal punishment. What better way to achieve his goal than to work from inside the system? Shigaraki knew the best way to get into the school was to have a mole. Denki was the perfect candidate. He was smart and resourceful. He would have him play the role of the class moron. This would enable him to interact with the class while keeping a low profile and hiding his true capabilities. Denki even lied about his issue of overusing his quirk and shorting out. He could overuse his quirk, but his limit was much higher than what was disclosed to the school. Also, when he reached his limit, he merely became fatigued not become a complete moron wandering around aimlessly.

Denki continued evaluating his next steps. He would continue his schoolwork as planned while waiting for any useful information. He started thinking that he needs something to make him blend in more with his classmates. Something that would show he didn't have a reason to be the traitor if the school started questioning. He needed something to show he had an emotional connection. Then it hit him.

Denki didn't need something to show an emotional attachment to his class he needed someone. It was time for Denki Kaminari to have a girlfriend.

*Author's Note*

I hope you enjoyed this introduction. I know that there isn't a confirmed traitor in My Hero Academia. I think I recently read that Horikoshi actually forgot about the traitor. I decided I like the theory of Denki being the traitor and I wanted to write an AU type of story following that theory.  I hope you continue reading as I am excited to write!
