Leaving Endeavor's office Y/N heads to her hotel. His office is in Mustafu, but it's quite the distance from Y/N's house. UA decided it was best for her to stay in a hotel in town to limit the commuting time. They were halfway through their internships and she was excited to get back to her room to take a shower. She had been in another world reflecting on her week when she ran into someone. Looking up she saw a familiar face.

"Todoroki! I'm sorry. I wasn't paying attention."

The heterochromatic male gave her his usual straight face and replied.

"It's fine. I wasn't paying attention either."

Y/N hadn't seen much of Todoroki that week. He was right when he said she would be with a sidekick the majority of the time. Burnin had been her mentor and honestly, she couldn't have been happier about it. The blonde sidekick with a fire extinguisher on the back of her uniform was enthusiastic and helpful with any questions she had. Not having to tag along with Endeavor was nice.

"How are things going with your Dad?"

She could see that the male was trying to choose his words carefully.

"I would say they're going. We don't agree on a lot of things, but it's not important. How is your time with Burnin going?" he asked.

Y/N could tell that he didn't want to talk about his time with daddy dearest.

"She's great, honestly. She's taught me a lot this week. I can side why Endeavor has her on staff."

Todoroki gave a hint of a smile to the girl. He was concerned that Y/N would be disappointed in not being able to spend any time with Endeavor. He was happy to see that it was working out for her.

"Are you going back to the hotel?" she asked.

The red and white-haired male nodded his head. The pair didn't see each other a lot at the agency, but they had seen each other periodically at the hotel. Todoroki could have commuted from his house, but he decided that he needed some time away from his father. When UA gave him the option to stay in the hotel he was quick to accept.

"Do you want to get dinner?" Y/N asked.

Y/N thought since they were interning at the same agency then it wouldn't hurt to spend some time together, but she didn't suggest it sooner because she didn't want him to feel obligated. Although, she would be lying if she said she wasn't feeling a bit lonely in the evenings. She hadn't been able to talk to Denki a lot this week, and when they did he kept the conversation short. Y/N assumed he must be busy trying to keep up with his internship with Edgeshot.

"Yeah, we could do that," the peppermint haired male answered.

The pair went back to their rooms and cleaned up from the day's activities. They met in the lobby of the hotel. They walked down the street making small talk. They approached their destination as Todoroki holds the door open for Y/N.

Once they were seated and their order was taken Y/N decided to ask a question.

"Do you have any siblings?"

Y/N was trying to make small talk since the two hadn't spent any time together, but she was also curious.

"I do. I have an older sister and an older brother."

She would have never have guessed that he wasn't an only child, and then he asked a question in return.

"Do you have siblings?"

"No. I'm an only child, but sometimes I wish I did," she replied.

They continued talking through dinner and the peppermint haired boy was enjoying Y/N's company. He was glad that she had decided to take the internship at the same place. This outing helped him forget about his stress of spending so much time with his father. He also thought that Y/N was easy to talk to and interesting. As they kept talking Todoroki noticed a theme throughout their conversation. He was curious and decided to investigate.
