You followed Jotaro through the front gate of his house and into the garden, crossing a bridge that led over a small river gently flowing across the estate. You looked around the huge, beautiful garden.

"Jotaro must be thinking about me at school right now. " you heard a female voice say. "I'm not." the male responded. The woman, whom you assumed to be his mother, jumped in shock, letting the picture frame she was holding, fall. "Jotaro! What about school? And who's that? What happened to him?! Please don't tell me you did that!" she inquired. "None of your business." he answered dismissing her questions, "Where's the old man?" "Uh, I think he's in the tea room."

Only then did she seem to notice you. "Oh, my I'm sorry. Are you Jotaro's girlfriend? I didn't know he had one." You took a second to process what she just said "Oh! No, no. I'm not his girlfriend. I'm.. more of a friend, if you could call it that." you chuckled and then introduced yourself. "Oh, too bad. You look good together. Oh, well." she smiled happily, "It's nice to meet you, Kate, I'm Holly."

"Hey, what you waiting for? Hurry up, already." Jotaro yelled, angrily. "You heard him, gotta go." you chuckled, seemingly not faced by the obviously annoyed male. You lazily sauntered over to the teen, a smug look on your face and suppressed a chuckle when he rolled his eyes and started walking again. Suddenly he stopped in his tracks and turned to his mother "Hey, you look a little pale today. You okay?" Holly looked really happy and did a peace sign, smiling a close-eyed smile "Yes, I'm fine! Thank you." "Aww, he cares. And that makes for proof number two." you thought, unconsciously grinning.

Unbeknownst to you, Jotaro noticed and hid the tiniest of blushes with his hat, knowing exactly what you were thinking about.

When you entered the tea room you saw two men who both were very familiar to you. Your jaw dropped "Mr. Joestar?! Avdol?! Oh my god! It's been so long!" you screamed happily. "Kate!" both exclaimed simultaneously, then turned to look each other "Wait! You know her?!" You just laughed "Well, that just shows that the world is smaller than we think." Mr Joestar and Avdol gaped at you and once their brains seemed to be working again they tackled you in hug. Jotaro just watched all of this go down. He mustered you, a hint of surprise in his eyes. You just smiled and waved at him, only lifting your hand as the rest of you was being crushed by the two men.

"Um, guys. It's nice to see you and all, but we have more important matters to take care of." you mentioned. "Right." agreed Mr. Joestar. Jotaro already had laid Kakyoin down on the floor.

Mr. Joestar took a closer look at the unconscious teen. "I hate to say it but, ... it's to late. We can't save him. He's got a few days left before he dies, at most. Jotaro, this is not your fault. The reason this pledged his loyalty to Dio is this." Mr. Joestar moved Kakyoin's bangs and hair noddle out of his face revealing an ugly bud with four moving tentacles, that had burrowed themselves into his forehead, looking like a spider made of flesh.

You scrunched up your nose in disgust. "What is that?" you asked. "Is that why he became Dio's minion?" Jotaro added. "Yes, it's called a 'flesh bud' made of Dio's cells. And it's tentacles connect directly to the young man's brain. Flesh buds may be small, but they have the power to influence a persons entire thoughts and actions." Avdol explained. "Simply put," added Mr. Joestar, " this bud awakens a certain feeling far beyond his control." He then exclaimed "Charisma" The power that drives a soldier to follow a dictator. This boy" he pointed at Kakyoin, "idolised Dio and that's why he swore his allegiance to him in the process. Dio know of to wield the power of charisma, and that means that there will be other he will try to influence. He ordered Kakyoin to kill us, and won't stop until he has succeeded."

"Then we remove the bud." Jotaro suggested, you nodding in agreement. "No," Mr Joestar said "the brain is too delicate. If he so much as flinches we will cause irreparable damage." "Jojo," Avdol started, "I need to tell you something. About four month ago, in Cairo, I met Dio. I'm a fortune teller by trade. I returned to my shop, and there I saw him. He stood atop of the stairs outside my shop. He looked at me, his cold eyes piercing through me, golden hair, his skin alabaster, almost transparent. I knew about him, because of Mr. Joestar and immediately turned and ran away. Luckily I knew my way around and was able to escape. Otherwise I would have ended, another follower, controlled by a flesh bud."
