||Jotaro
Men from the SPW foundation arrived to pick them up and fly them across the Arabian Peninsula. Kate had been sitting on a rock almost dozing off, cuddled into his jacket. (He had asked her whether he could have it back but she had refused so cutely that Jotaro let her have it.) Apparently she had been up all night, Jotaro wasn't that surprised. Of course she'd sleep badly after all the stuff Jiji and Polnareff said to her. He couldn't really understand why she asked to pretend as if nothing happened but if that was what she wanted...."Jotaro, get Kate. We need to board that plane if we want to make it across the Arabian Peninsula in time." the old man ordered. Jotaro obliged, "Oi, woman. You can sleep later, now come on." Kate answered with a displeased hum and trudged over to the plane. She gave the old man an unamused look once she discovered that, once again, she didn't get her own seat. Jotaro got inside the plane and before Polnareff could offer the woman his lap, Jotaro lifted her up, placing her on his own, his arm wrapped tightly around her. Kate looked around confused for a second before snuggling into his chest. "She's not giving that up, huh?" Kakyoin pointed to Jotaro's jacket. "Yeah, she loves that thing..." added Polnareff and looked at Kate who looked so tiny in that huge black jacket.
Now they were currently crossing the Red Sea with a boat the old man had purchased at the port. Kate was up again and back to her lively self. Jotaro looked at the compass and noticed something weird. "Hey, old man. Something's off. We're going the wrong direction. If we're headed to Egypt, shouldn't we be traveling directly west? You seem to be heading toward that island." Jotaro pointed at the island sitting in the middle of nowhere. "Yeah, you're right. Nice deduction. I've had my reasons for keeping this to myself, but before we arrive in Egypt we need to make a slight detour. Someone is waiting for us on the island. He's a man who's extremely important to our journey." the old man explained. "What is that supposed to mean?" wondered Polnareff. "Oh, could it be...?!" Kate jumped up, grabbing the binoculars. Looking at the island she started chuckling. "Kate, what are you scheming?" the old man said warningly. " Kate looked at the old man sideways, "....Nothing."

Your group had set foot on the island and you would love to go and explore it. But Jiji had told you not to run off. "So, what's the big idea? Does someone actually live here? This is such a tiny little island. It's practically deserted." Polnareff inquired. "I'm inclined to agree. Mr. Joestar are you sure someone actually lives here?" Kakyoin added. You didn't actually listen though, too giddy to see your old friend, if your assumption was right, that is. "He's been living on this island by himself. A man told me back in India. I'm sure I heard him correctly." explained the old man. "Wait a minute! When you say man...do you...?" Kakyoin started. "What mangos from India?" Polnareff asked. A familiar scent reached your nostrils, your Stand's nostril to be exact. "Hate to interrupt but you should know that somebody's watching us." Jotaro mentioned, pointing to some bushes with his thumb. You had given back his jacket, though rather reluctant, you knew you couldn't keep it on forever. That someone jumped up and ran away. The man's grey hair was made into a familiar hairstyle. "From the back he looks...." Kakyoin started. "Right, I know that face." Polnareff noticed, too and started running after the man. The rest of you followed. "Nice disguise, man." you thought while speeding up and skipping ahead of the others, you were used to smoothly glide through such thicket. "Hold on! Just wait!" Polnareff shouted after the man. You jumped ahead, leaving the others far behind and followed the man out of the thicket to his little chicken farm. The man grabbed a bowl of chicken feed and threw some of it to the chickens, "Are you hungry, Michael? What about you, Prince? I mixed in the shells you love, so make sure you share with the others, alright?" Hearing the man's voice you were certain, but you couldn't approach him, yet, as the others had caught up. "There's lots more where this came from. Eat up, so you'll become nice and fat, so you'll be a tasty chicken Lionel." the man said. "Wow. Telling a chicken to become fat so you can eat it. That sounds like something I would do, but you....wow." you thought. "It's not possible....That man..." Kakyoin pondered. "It can't be it's...." Polnareff wanted to approach the man but was stopped by Mr. Joestar, "Hold it! I'm gonna go and talk to him. The rest of you just wait here for now." he stated and pulled you away from the fence and gently pushed you against Jotaro. Mr. Joestar approached the gate where you had been standing seconds ago, "Pardon me, my name is Joseph Joestar. My friends and I are currently traveling on an expedition to Egypt--" "Go away!" the man interrupted the silver fox, "I won't hear it!" "His voice sounds like..." Polnareff mumbled and you felt how Jotaro tensed his muscles for a moment. "I won't say it again! Don't talk to me, got it?! No one ever comes to me when they have actual good news to report. I only get visitors when something bad happens. Just shut up!" the man turned around, "Go away!" "Mr. Avdol!" Kakyoin exclaimed and without looking you knew Jotaro had a shocked expression on his face, "Avdol wait..." he started but the man went inside his house, slamming the door behind him and telling you once more to go away. "Hold on! That's impossible!" Kakyoin and Polnareff exclaimed in unison. "That wasn't Avdol." explained Mr. Joestar grimly, "That was his father." "His father?" Polnareff muttered. "He withdrew from society and lives alone on this island. I'm sorry that I wasn't able to tell you about this earlier but of it ever became known to Dio that we stopped at this place. Avdol's father would be put in grave danger. I would never forgive myself if that happened." The silver fox took a deep breath, "But for now, my focus has to be on telling him what every parent fears most....That his son is dead." Polnareff was visibly suffering from the memories of the Egyptian man, guilt and grief rushing through his heart. "Don't let yourself go there. Avdol's death wasn't your fault." "No, it's entirely my fault. I'll carry that burden for as long as I live." Polnareff was looking to the ground and you were starting to feel really bad about lying to him about the whole Avdol's death thing. "Is it safe to assume his father's a Stand user?" Kakyoin changed the subject. "Yeah, but I don't know what kind of Stand it is and what sort of power it wields." explained the old man. "Judging by the way his father reacted to us, I doubt he'll offer us much assistance." pondered Kakyoin. "Yeah, just leave the talking to me." agreed Mr. Joestar, "Hopefully my words can reach him." You watched as Polnareff sadly trudged back towards the beach.
