||Polnareff
Cameo laughed, "I'm sure it's quiet the traumatic experience being eaten live by your own sister. Then again, when a man uncovers his deepest desires all of his weaknesses are laid bare. You gave nary a thought to the depraved nature of bringing someone back to the world of the living. Everyone desperately wants to believe that their loved ones are still alive somewhere. More than anything else, your hope is that by some miracle they'll suddenly pop in tomorrow and say, 'Good Morning.' ... Oh, before I forget. I believe you said something about a third wish, but if I'm not mistaken, you've already made said wish." The Stand explained. "You mean..." Polnareff let out. "You wished for Avdol to come back to life!" Cameo remembered and disappeared in a cloud of pink smoke, shouting, "Hail to you!" Once again Polnareff was left alone, sitting in the thicket. The wind brushed through the Frenchman's hair and only a moment later, Avdol stood before him. A second later, the Egyptian man came running towards him. "Avdol, it's me!" Polnareff shouted but Avdol didn't listen. Instead he ripped open the French's side with his hand. Polnareff flew back from the impact, "Av...Avdol, wait...:" Polnareff groaned. Two of Avdol's fingers crumbled. "My fingers...." he growled in a deep voice so unlike him, "They've crumbled to pieces....Polnareff! I blame you for all this. Because of your idiotic bumbling, I...Polnareff! Because of you, I ended up like this!" Avdol lifted his headband, revealing the wound from the bullet. Polnareff remembered how he argued with Avdol before the incident happened, "Avdol...you're right. The person to blame for all this,...is me." he muttered. "Mark my words. You'll pay for this, Polnareff!" Avdol growled and launched, "And you'll do it...with your flesh!" "I'll get better if I eat, right?" Sherry ran towards him, too. Sherry took a bite of him first and Avdol followed suit. Polnareff sat on the ground, scared for his life and he held out a hand to try and stop them. "What's the matter, brother?" Sherry asked, while she and Avdol slowly advanced like a pair zombies. "Stay away!...Stay away from me! Both of you...Please go back to your graves!" Polnareff pleaded. "But why? You're the one who brought us back, aren't you?" Sherry asked. "The time had come for you to enter your grave!" Avdol declared. Polnareff backed away when a thought struck him, "I was so panicked that I forgot to summon Chariot. How could I have been so caught up in my wish that I neglected to use my Stand?" Avdol and Sherry jumped at him again. "Leave me alone! Please, just stay away!" he pleaded, summoning Silver Chariot. The Stand swung his sword but Cameo grabbed his wrist and wrapped an arm around the silver man's neck, restricting all movement, "'Please'? Oh no! You don't have any wishes left, remember?" Avdol and Sherry sank their teeth into Polnareff, who screamed in pain. "I've already granted your three wishes." Cameo laughed, "And I'm sorry to say, you don't get any more!" Polnareff desperately tried pushing Avdol off of him who was feasting on his neck, "Stop it! Get off!" Silver Chariot's appearance flickered, then faded. "Hail to you!" Cameo cheered and laughed, fully enjoying Polnareff's misery, "Go ahead! Writhe and scream to your pathetic heart's content! Seems you're in the middle of nowhere. Your friends by the shore won't hear you! No one can save you now!" Cameo laughed in pure delight.
Polnareff stopped resisting. "It's no use." he thought, "This is the end...I'm going to die....I'm finished." his sight went in and out of focus, "Sherry....Avdol...I suppose you're giving me what I deserved. It's only fitting. It's like you said, you died because of my actions." The French rested his head on the ground, no longer feeling the pain. The image of Avdol lying on the ground and a puddle of blood forming around his head, appeared in his mind. "And so, I've accepted my fate." Tears gathered in his eyes, when suddenly he started to see two Avdols. There was another Avdol sneaking up on the Avdol that was eating him! The new Avdol grabbed the doubleganger. "My vision must be going. I'm seeing double. It looks like there are two Avdols." Polnareff rubbed his eyes, when he opened them again, there was only one. "Of course there's not another one. If I'm starting to see things, guess it means the end is near. The blood loss is taking it's toll..."I'm hallucinating...All right...This is it. I'll have to tap out early. Goodbye, Mr. Joestar, Kakyoin, Jotaro...and Kate, my favourite little devil...I pray for your victory. As for you Avdol...I'll atone in the next world..." Polnareff's vision cleared again, when he noticed that the Avdol before him was held back by the wrist, straining against it. Another Avdol held him from behind, crushing the wrist, which crumbled to dust. "I was right! I knew I saw another Avdol!" Polnareff exclaimed while Cameo let out a, "What? Impossible!" in surprise. "My eyes weren't playing tricks!" Polnareff felt an unbelievable wave of happiness and relief, "Besides the dirt and dust version Cameo created! There's another Avdol!" "Magician's Red!" Avdol summoned his own Stand. The figure immediately got to burning the fake Avdol, who burst and returned to his original form. To dust and dirt. "But how?! he's supposed to be dead! It's impossible! He was stabbed by The Hanged Man, Centerfold!" Cameo shouted. "How the hell is he alive?" Polnareff wondered. Avdol clicked his tongue, shaking his finger as if to lightly scold him. "Are you really Mohammed Avdol?" Polnareff asked. "Yes! You better believe I am!" Avdol answered in all his glory. "Is it really you?" Polnareff couldn't believe it. He saw Avdol die! "Is it the real you I mean?" "Polnareff, you haven't changed in the slightest." Avdol spoke, "You still lose all common sense when it comes to your sister. You never stop to think of the consequences." "I simply refuse to accept this." Cameo declared, "Mohammed Avdol is dead." he said with vigour, "I was told Hol Horse put a bullet between your eyes after Hanged Man sunk his blade into your back and you died on the spot!" "You're correct about me being shot, right in the forehead." Avdol tapped a finger to his bullet wound, "That said, because I was stabbed in the back, for a moment, my face was looking up and the bullet only graced me. I suppose this is what one would call a blessing in disguise. Hol Horse didn't realise it but his bullet never made contact with my brain, so he didn't inflict a mortal wound. He was only able to scratch my skin and bruise my skull. Besides that, I happen to know an expert mage with a grand knowledge of souls. She ensured my survival until the ambulance arrived. Although I did completely loose consciousness and my soul almost disappeared." Avdol explained, enraging Cameo, who was now growling in anger. "So you call yourself Cameo of the Judgment card? Hell is near, so prepare! Hell to you!" Avdol declared.
