||Kakyoin

Kakyoin was woken up by a crying baby. "What a piercing noise...." he mumbled. When he opened his eyes he was in some sort of amusement park. In the gondola of a Ferris wheel to be exact. Dressed in his pyjamas he sat up, rubbing his eyes. The baby was still crying in the distance. When he looked around he saw the amusement park in greater detail, the typical music of a barrel organ playing in the background. "What is this place?" he muttered, voice still hoarse from sleep. "An amusement park?" he tried to orientate himself, "I've never been here before." "Why in the world am I riding on a Ferris wheel in my pyjamas?" he noticed, "How'd I get here?" He tried to stay calm and recall what he last remembered, "The desert....I remember being in the desert, riding through Saudi Arabia on camel back. But where are the others? Did they abandon me?" he wondered. A dog whined behind him. Kakyoin turned around, the dog sat next to him. Kakyoin petted him, "This isn't making any sense. There's not a soul anywhere in the amusement park, so why do I hear the cries of a baby? And for that matter, where is it?" Kakyoin mumbled to himself, trying to figure out the situation. Suddenly balloons started flying into the air, a green one came flying towards the teen. Kakyoin noticed a card that was attached to it. He grabbed the card and turned it around to see what was printed on the front. He gasped, "This card is...Death 13!" The card started to move. The reaper depicted on it grew bigger and swung his scythe. Kakyoin screamed and dodged, the scythe slitting open the dog's throat instead. He screamed again.

"Kakyoin!" Polnareff grabbed the teen. He was sitting in bed ramrod straight and suddenly stopped screaming, realising he'd woken up. "Hey, take it easy." Polnareff tried to calm him down, "Stop screaming and shaking the bed like the creepy girl from The Exorcist. You're weirding me out." "Where are we?" Kakyoin asked, looking around the hotel room. "Don't ask stupid questions." Polnareff declared, "Come on, get up already, would ya?" The French opened the window, letting in the sun, "After breakfast, we're gonna take to the skies. Looks like another scorcher today." Kakyoin sighed, "I had a terrible nightmare. It was truly horrifying." "You don't say? Lay on the details." Polnareff approached the teen, who was still sitting in bed, "I wanna hear all about it." "The thing is, I can't remember." Kakyoin admitted, "I've forgotten it all." "Come again?" Polnareff inquired. "Regardless, it was petrifying. You woke me up and pulled me out of it." Kakyoin put his head in his hand. "Wish we could talk all about it, but we gotta get a move on." Polnareff grabbed his luggage, "Let's go. Hurry up and get ready." When Kakyoin moved to throw back the sheets and get up he noticed a cut on his hand. "There's a cut on my hand...But how'd it get there?"

"Jotaro and Mr. Joestar are already headed to the plane. We'll meet them there. And the way I hear it we're travelling five hundred kilometres today." Polnareff explained while the two of them left the hotel. The Frenchman was interrupted by a young boy who was crying. "My dog! Please god, my poor dog...My dog is dead! Who would do such a thing?!" "A dog?" strangely the dog reminded Kakyoin of his nightmare, though he still couldn't recall any of the stuff that happened. "I could've sworn that I saw a dead dog not too long ago." "Whoever did this is sick, but there's nothing we can do about it." added Polnareff, "Let's go. Mr. Joestar sent Kate on a little errand, she should be back with them soon, too."

You were pressing a cold compress to Jotaro's cheek while Mr. Joestar argued with the man who owned the Cessna. "I'm so sorry." you said, feeling guilty. "It's fine. Wasn't your fault anyway." the male teen muttered. Jotaro held the cold compress now himself, you had insisted he kept cooling the bruise. You had had a terrible nightmare. The first one ever since you were like seven years old. Jotaro had tried waking you up but you had been so startled that you instinctively punched the male. "Hey, hey, hey. Hold on a dang second Mister. What exactly do you mean you 'cant sell us the plane now'? I seem to recall you taking my money last night and saying it was a done deal!" the old man said in his usual boisterous way. "You'll get a full refund. But first we need to see to a baby with a fever! It's 39 degrees Celsius. There's no doctor in this town, so we have no choice but to take the baby somewhere else to get help." the seller explained. A woman with a baby in a basket as a makeshift-bed stepped out. "Then how about taking that plane over there?" suggested Mr. Joestar pointing to another Cessna. "I'm sorry. That one's broken." the seller explained. "What's up some kind of argument?" Polnareff asked, as he and Kakyoin arrived. "Yeah." was all Jotaro answered. "A baby..." Kakyoin muttered. "Hey, what happened to you, man? Don't tell me Kate punched you?" Polnareff noticed the bruise on the teen's cheek, then stopped short, "Wait, that really was Kate?! What did you do for her to punch you?" Polnareff inquired insistently. "It was an accident!" you exclaimed, feeling even more guilty. "I told you I'm fine, woman." Jotaro huffed. "You just keep cooling that bruise." you protested and pressed the cold compress back to his cheek. "What happened?" Kakyoin asked you. "I had a terrible nightmare for the first time in years. It was so bad that Jojo woke me up....but, well...I was so startled that I punched him across the face...I feel horrible about it." you explained. "So you had one, too, huh?" Kakyoin muttered. "You too? There's definitely something weird going on. I've been feeling off, ever since I woke up....and I can't remember anything....You'd think a nightmare like that isn't easily forgotten...." you pondered. "I can't remember anything either..." Kakyoin agreed, his eyes flickered back to the baby. "A baby..." he muttered again. "I remember hearing a baby's cries..." "Me too!" you were quick to agree with him. Something about that baby made you feel uncomfortable. There was definitely something off about the baby! "You'll be able to use the plane after it gets back tomorrow night." the seller explained, "We can renegotiate and talk prices then." "Did you say tomorrow night?" the old man grabbed the seller by the collar, "I've got someone's life on the line just like you guys do!" he barked, "We can't afford to spend two days pissing around this place!" "So, what you're telling me is that you'd rather let that baby die?" the seller retorted. "Well, I..." the old man stuttered. "Excuse me, I have a suggestion. We can kill two birds with one stone by having these gentlemen take the baby to the doctor on their way. The Cessna is built to carry four. Surely there's enough room for a baby." the woman explained. You got distracted. The baby just smiled and it had already teeth. Babies of that age had yet to grow teeth! You subconsciously grabbed Kakyoin by the arm. The teen patted your hand, he had seen it, too. "You sure about this, Lady? Do you really wanna leave your baby with them?" the seller inquired. "Uh, just a minute! We can't do that either! It's too dangerous for the baby to come with us. Besides, Kate is travelling with us, too. We're already out of extra space."
