"I'm terribly sorry, Sir. But we tend to be fully booked this time of year. We no longer have any large suites available. May I just book some double rooms for you?"
"No more sweets available? What about the owner's suite?" Kate inquired. "Miss Adler! I'm sorry but your father's suite is currently occupied by your family." the receptionist responded. "My...family....You're telling me the whole clan is here?" Kate chuckled nervously. "Great."
"What's so bad about your family?" wondered Anne. "My family consists out of two extremes....And both sides are crazy in some way..." the female explained. "Well, I guess we're stuck. Now for the rooms, uhh, Avdol and I will share a room with each other." stated the old man. "It'd would make sense for Jotaro and I to share a room, since we're both students." explained Kakyoin. "Then the last room goes to Polnareff and..." Avdol looked at the girls who both simultaneously started protesting. "Like I'd room with that guy!" protested Anne. "You brat!" countered the French. "Anne's right, he can room with Jack! No better, he can have a room for himself and Jack can just get lost!" agreed Kate. "Actually, I'd like to have a room for myself, too." admitted the exorcist. "Fine... Five rooms it is, the girl's can share." "Yes, of course." the receptionist gave the old man five room keys. Polnareff took the one with the room number 912. "Fine, I can relax more in my own room anyway! I'm gonna sleep like a baby tonight!" he declared. Kate snatched the next key and she and Anne were off to their room as well. Jotaro and Kakyoin followed having taken the room on the same floor. Avdol and the old man stepped into the elevator, as well. Kate and Anne started grinning and pressed the button to close the doors, before Joaquin could reach the elevator. Avdol sighed, "Are you proud of yourself now?" "Yes." Kate stated. "Great, Anne will copy you, you know?" commented the old man. "Alright, I'm officially a bad influence, now." Kate declared before stepping out into the floor and walking into the opposite direction of the boys.
Once inside their room, Jotaro had wanted to take a shower, however, that didn't last long as the phone rang. "Jotaro! Polnareff was attacked! We're meeting in our room in five minutes. Bring Kate." the old man told the teen. "You got it. We'll see you in room twelve-twelve soon, old man. "What was that all about, Jojo?" asked his roommate. "Let's go. Apparently we're in danger." he explained. "Should we check up on Anne?" wondered the red-head. "We have to get Kate anyway."
When they neared the girl's hotel room, they heard Kate scream, "It moved! Run!" The two teens out in the hallway looked at each other alarmed. They knocked on the door and Anne opened. In the background there was Kate, mumbling to herself, "Ok, Kate. You can do this. There's just a huge, gigantic, massive spider in the shower. Sitting in some corner, just waiting to jump right into my face.....Nope I ain't going in there." Anne whirled around, "You have to! I want to take a shower!" "Alright." Kate walked into the bathroom, switching on the light, "Oh god. It's gone!" and then she screamed. "Holy shit! It sat right next to the light switch. I almost touched it!" Shortly after, Kate came out. "That scared me." She laughed and told Anne she could take that shower now.
"So, did you need something?" the female asked, Anne intently listening. "Listen up, kid. Don't leave this room for a while." the delinquent explained. Kate caught on. "Alright. Keep the door locked and don't open unless it's me, got it?" "Oh... ok." the girl nodded.
On their way to the old man's room Kate was filled in on the events. When they opened the door to room 1212 the old man looked up, "Huh? It's just you three? Why isn't Anne with you?" "They did check up on her." Kate defended. "We decided against it, 'cause she'd be vulnerable. The risk of her falling under attack while with us is far too great." added Kakyoin. "Good point. So we're just waiting for Polnareff to arrive. But man he's so late. It's already been way over five minutes." pondered the old man. "Kate. Stop plundering our mini bar." Avdol chastised the woman who had already stuffed her mouth with the chocolate bar. Kate looked at Avdol, then returned to rummaging through the small fridge. Jack came in, "Dammit. You got the chocolate bar." Kate chuckled. The door opened again and Polnareff came in. Covered in blood. He obviously had been engaged in battle. "Polnareff, you're here. You're not terribly punctual and you look like hell. Alright, let's get straight to it. Let's come up with a strategy, in case Soul Sacrifice attacks. Pay attention." declared the old man. Polnareff slid down the wall he was leaning against. "You're joking, right?"
