You had entered the submarine, Jotaro close behind you. You had trouble not giving in to curiosity and start inspecting every little thing. You didn't have to do so for long as you quickly saw something to snack on. "Hang on a minute. Are you telling me you can drive this thing." Polnareff looked over Avdol's shoulder as the Egyptian grabbed the steering wheel after the others had followed you into the submarine. "It's not a problem whatsoever, Polnareff." answered Avdol. "Wow." The French let out a sound of recognition. "And Avdol's not the only one." the old man started. "Don't even think about it. I refuse to let you put us through another crash." Jotaro growled. "Well, you sure seem to be in a foul mood today." retorted the old man. "He has a point, though. You do tend to crash everything you drive..." you added, before placing yourself on Jotaro's lap. There were only five seats in the submarine in total, driver's seat included and you just knew you, as the lightest and smallest of the group, were the one to have to make space if someone wanted to sit down, besides you wouldn't miss the opportunity. "So, this is a submarine..." Kakyoin changed the subject before a argument could break out, "I have to say, I'm a bit surprised. It's a lot more spacious than I expected." "Isn't it? Rich folks usually use vessels like these when they want to get away for a while and explore the sea floor for pleasure. As you can see it even has windows." explained the old man and instantly Polnareff jumped up and pressed his nose to the window, "Oh! Nice!" "You know, if you think about it, I've always liked this kind of thing." Polnareff rambled on, "Though I wished I could've ridden in one of those with a cute girl..." You immediately cleared your throat, "Are you saying I'm not cute?" "Of course not...it's just that cute isn't exactly your style..." Polnareff tried to explain, knowing he'd slipped up. "What's that supposed to mean now?" you retorted. You weren't exactly offended, you knew that you could be cute if you wanted to but Polnareff was right, it wasn't exactly your style. But you were bored and this seemed like a good way to entertain yourself. "Once again, you haven't changed, Polnareff." commented Avdol, "Can you try just once to take this seriously?" Avdol skilfully changed the subject to keep you and Polnareff from bickering. The sound of the sonar suddenly caught the French's attention. "Huh? What's that?" he asked. "This is a sonar. It uses reflective sound waves to detect underwater objects, like radar." explained the old man and Polnareff was fascinated by it. "All clear. I'm not picking up anything in our vicinity." reported Avdol. "With this machine we can detect anyone who tries to attack us, no matter which direction the enemy decides to come from." explained Mr. Joestar. "But if someone did attack us in here, there'd be nowhere for us to run, we'd be like trapped rats. Don't forget where we are. 60 metres below sea level." Jotaro grumbled. "Please don't invite trouble." you said softly, reclining against his chest. You took a look at your watch. 10:00 PM. Down here it was had to tell by your surroundings. "This sub is amazing." Kakyoin commented after having taken a look around, "But I guess it is a pleasure cruiser for the wealthy. It has a refrigerator, a coffee maker and it's even equipped with the latest in satellite phones." "Hey Kakyoin, would you mind gettin' me a drink while you're up? I'm dying of thirst here." asked the French. "I'll take one, too." Avdol chimed in. "Me too, please." you added. "Sure." Kakyoin opened the refrigerator, "Is cola okay?" You were just about to answer when Jotaro opened his mouth first, "Hey, Old Man. Why are you just standin' there? Is something bugging ya?" he asked. "I need you to give me a moment of quiet. I just remembered I have a phone call to make." explained Mr. Joestar. "A phone call? To where?" wondered Polnareff. "Where, is right. Who would you need to call from a submarine in the middle of the red sea." queried Kakyoin. "Someone important. I assure you. You might even call it a delicate matter. So, as I said, I need you all to be quiet." explained the old man. "Oh! I think I know who..." you whispered, "I'd like to talk to her, too."

||New York 03:00 PM

In a penthouse, somewhere in New York a certain blonde woman with blue eyes was trying to decide which dress she should wear. "Oh, heaven's me....Which one should I pick? Suzie Q was standing in front of a big mirror, unable to decide, "The sparkly design is much more to my liking....but is it appropriate for the charity event tomorrow? Perhaps a refreshing white would be better. Oh, what do you think, Rosas?" The woman turned to her ever loyal butler, who has been serving her and her husband for many years and was now more of a family member than a butler. "Both of the gowns look lovely on you, Madam." he said. In that moment the phone rang and Suzie called out "Coming!" and left Rosas to catch the gowns as she dropped them and rushed off to get the phone. "Yes, hello? Oh, Joseph, darling, it's you! Where have you been? And where are you calling from?" she asked. Rosas's mouth dropped open, he knew very well what his master was up to at the moment. He also knew that Joseph didn't want Suzie to find out and worry about her daughter. As she was a quiet energetic woman, she would not hesitate to got to Japan to look after her daughter. "What was that, dear? It's a bit hard to hear you." she spoke.
