||Kate
Once you were back at the hotel, you had reserved the train tickets on your way back, your father approached you. "Kate. We really need the rooms you're occupying, so we moved your group to our suite. We have the entire top floor to ourselves. If we move some people we should find the place for you. Would you mind getting the others?" "Sure." you nodded, called your friends and led them to the Penthouse Suite with a roof garden and terrace, reserved for the owner and his family. Polnareff whistled. "I know." you deadpanned. "There you are! We put Kumiko and you in your room, Kate. The others can go in pairs. I'll show you to your rooms." your grandmother spoke up. "I wanna stay in Kate's room, too!" Anne protested. "Fine, go ahead. It's the one in the corner over there. With access to the terrace and right next to the stairs that lead up to the roof garden." you responded, knowing Anne wouldn't give up on it. Anne ran off to inspect your room, while you walked into the kitchen. Only moments after disappearing the girl came back. "Kate! Can I read some of the manga?" "I can't stop you anyway..." you stated. Anne ran off again and you opened the fridge. "Kate. Hands off! Since we're more people now, I can't have you eat anything. We'll need it for dinner." your grandmother shooed you out of the kitchen. There was still some time until dinner and with nothing better to do, you decided to go take a nap. Your bed was obviously no option, Anne had spread out on the bed and the living room was too noisy. So you decided on your favourite sunny spot in the roof garden. However, when you arrived there, a certain broody, delinquent had taken up your napping spot. Your family knew that anybody who took your space would be mercilessly driven away by you. This giant of a man, was too heavy to move alone, and somehow you didn't really want to wake him up. He deserved a nap as much as you did.
||Some time later
Avdol came into the living room, seemingly searching for someone. "Where did they go off to?" he muttered. "Hey, Avdol. You looking for someone?" Mr. Joestar inquired, currently watching the news. "Dinner is almost ready, so Kate's grandmother asked me to go and get everyone from our group and Kate. However, I can find neither the girl nor Jotaro." "Have you checked the garden? I think I saw Jotaro going up there before. I'll help you." the silver fox added. "We'll help, too. They can't have gone far." Kumiko joined in, Kakyoin and Polnareff behind her. "Are you looking for my daughter?" Sven had entered the living room. He chuckled, "If you can't find her, she's probably taking a nap." he waved for them to follow and led them up onto the roof, the beautiful garden stretching out in front of them. "You see. She's got that one spot, she always goes to when taking a nap. It's quiet hard to see, if you don't know about it. Maybe that's why she makes sure she's the only one to use it?" Sven explained. They rounded the bushes and Sven stopped abruptly, staring at the scene unfolding before him. "Well, that's a first." There they were, both Jotaro and Kate, napping. Apparently the girl had arrived after the male and simply decided to share the little space, resorting to basically resting on top of him.
"Well, he's always been great at finding the good hiding spots." commented Mr. Joestar. "I'd say he developed a sense for it. I can imagine he was trying to avoid his fangirls as much as possible." added Kakyoin. "I wonder how she does it?" Kumiko suddenly burst out, keeping her voice as quiet as possible. "What do you mean?" Kakyoin wondered. "Since the very day, Kate came to our school, she basically had Jotaro eating out of her palm. On the day, she left school with Jotaro, do you know what she did?! She just touched his abs! His abs! Without hesitation! She just slid her hand over his stomach and said, 'Seems pretty damn touchable to me.' Any other girl and he literally would have bitten her head off. But he let it go! I don't know how she does it! How in the world did she tame him so much?!" "Now that you say it...He does let her do a lot, considering he usually gets annoyed when girls only talk to him..." wondered the red-head. "Maybe it's the way she does it?" added Polnareff, "Kate is a very open and straight-forward person. She tells him directly what she wants but she doesn't fawn over him. Besides did you notice how naturally she jumped in and got rid of those girls at the port before we boarded the ship? It looked like she's used to it...." "It's not only him, though. I noticed she's more tame, when she's around him. If that were me, she would have kicked me out already, saying it would be an insult to her favourite place or something." Joaquin stated. "Anyway, dinner should be ready by now.. We should wake them up..." the old man declared. "That's not necessary. Your useless blabbering woke me up already." the male teen grunted and shook the female, who was still basically on top of him. "No, you're warm." Kate protested. "Get off, before I make you." the delinquent grunted. "Alright, alright." she giggled.
