The moment the group boarded the plane, Kate had made a beeline for the window seat, saying how she didn't want to be squished between two of the buff males. When Jotaro plopped down in the seat next to her, he saw her sending out a few quick texts before take-off. "Kate? Does your dad know that you'll be gone for some time?" inquired Mr. Joestar. The girl lifted her head, grinning cheekily "I texted him just know. I told him I'd be helping you on a very important business trip and that there are some more helpers you're taking with you." the girl giggled again "He said it's fine, as long as I don't come home pregnant."

Mr. Joestar laughed "That is something Vincent would say. I should start a new project with him soon." "Your dad seems to trust you a lot." mentioned Avdol. "He does, though it probably helped that I'm traveling with a close friend of his." "By the way, how's he been holding up since Lill's death? I've called him a few times, he's always been acting fine, but..." "He's started acting more like the old him lately." Mr. Joestar hummed, satisfied with the answer. The girl then looked back at her phone typing out a text to Kumiko 'Hey, I'll be gone for approximately fifty days. I'm helping out an old friend, so please take care of Sekhy for me. Oh, and take me some notes for school, would ya? ;)'

Then she switched her phone to flight mode and turned to look out the window and by the time the plane took off she was fast asleep. Mr. Joestar who sat, together with Avdol, in the row before Jotaro, Kakyoin and Kate turned to check on the teenagers but smiled when he saw Kate sleeping. "She still can sleep anywhere." The two male teenagers and Avdol instinctively looked at the sleeping girl. "Who would have thought that she could look so..." Avdol seemed to look for the right word, moving his hand in a circling motion "harmless." Mr. Joestar chuckled. "What do you mean? Harmless? She doesn't look like the kind of person that can cause much damage..." pondered Kakyoin. "That's exactly what makes her so dangerous. Don't underestimate her." answered Avdol. "Yeah, it's clear you haven't known her for long." added Jotaro. The red head's eyes widened "Well, I guess if even Jotaro says that, then she must be a force to be reckoned with."

In that moment, they all felt as though someone was watching them "Did you feel that?" asked the old man. "Yeah, he's definitively watching us." answered Jojo. They all could feel Dio watching them, probably through a spirit photo, except for the girl peacefully sleeping away the night. The rest of the group decided to follow the brunette's example and get comfortable as well. Avdol and Kakyoin quickly fell asleep, while Jotaro and his grandfather stayed awake, lost in their own thoughts. For a while everything was quiet, except for the deep droning of the plane's engines.

Then, a very annoying, buzzing sound became audible. Kate, Kakyoin and Avdol opened their eyes, reacting to the sound. Though it seemed the group of six were the only ones that could hear. None of the other passengers showed any reaction. Jotaro stood up. "A rhino beetle....No, it's a stag beetle." "Who cares what kind of beetle it is?" complained Kate, "It's gross."

"Is that a stand? Did Dio already send one?" wondered Mr. Joestar. "Probably" agreed the Egyptian, "It's a stand that takes the form of an insect." The buzzing sound suddenly stopped and the beetle disappeared. "Damn!" cussed the Kate, "It went into hiding in the shadows!" "It could be anywhere." warnend Avdol. The stand suddenly appeared seemingly out of nowhere, right by Jotaro's head.. "Jojo, it's next to your head. Look to your right!" yelled Kakyoin.

Finally the group was able to see the beetle clearly. "It's huge! That has to be a stand!" stated the red head, "No doubt, it's here for us!" "Disgusting." commented Jotaro. "Told you." Kate gave the teen a sidelong glance before focusing back on the beetle. "Just leave it to me, I'll take care of it." declared the raven haired. Avdol warned the young man to be careful, explaining that there was a insectile stand that liked to rip out its victim's tongues before they die.
