||Kakyoin

Someone knocked on the door to his hospital room. The door was opened and the voice of a nurse greeted him, "Rise and shine, sir. Mr. Kakyoin, are you feeling any better today?" Kakyoin sat up, "To be perfectly honest, this new way of life isn't exactly agreeing with me. I'm feeling a little on edge." he explained. The bandages around his eyes prevented him from seeing, leaving him to feel a little helpless. "Have you had any discomfort?" inquired the nurse further. "No, I haven't, actually. The painkillers must be working." answered the teen. "Good. Excellent news." responded the nurse. "We're thrilled that you're feeling better." the doctor spoke, making himself known. "So, doctor, about these." started the red-head, touching his bandages, "How long will I have to keep them on? The thing is, I can't afford to wait any longer.." "Look, Kakyoin, while your eyes will recover, your condition is nothing to be taken lightly. You'll be in our care for quiet some time, so, please be patient. The fact of the matter is, we don't know just how long you're going to remain in our care." explained the doctor. Kakyoin felt troubled at that. He wanted to get back to his friends as soon as possible. He couldn't afford to stand by idly any longer! "Just kidding!" revealed the doctor all of a sudden, "It's true your body still needs time to properly heal itself. But for some strange reason, doctors from the Speedwagon Foundation recently contacted us out of the blue, and they've asked that we entrust your medical care to them. They also said something about their most recent collaboration, which will boost their knowledge. Though, I have little doubt that their state-of-the-art medical treatments will prove to be more than effective. But tell me, who are you behind that schoolboy-façade? Surely you must know, that foundation is world-famous! I can't imagine they'd want anything to do with an average high school student." the doctor spoke. Kakyoin couldn't help but smile. "Let's just say, I'm fortunate enough to have very dependable friends." The teen chuckled, thanking Mr. Joestar and Kate for everything in his mind. He knew that they had pulled some strings to ensure he'd be able to rejoin them as soon as possible. And with the Speedwagon Foundation and hell working together, he'd be as good as new in no time at all. "I suppose we'll be seeing each other again, sooner than we thought. Jotaro, Polnareff, Avdol, Iggy...just hang in there." he thought.

||Kate

Your group had arrived in Luxor. Currently you were still in the middle of nowhere, though the town was already in sight, listening to Avdol. Have you heard of the tomb of the great king Tutankhamun. It lies here in the Valley of the Kings." explained the Egyptian. "Wow, this place is chucked full of history." Polnareff let out. "That's the one that hasn't been raided yet, right?" you asked, just to be sure. "Kate." Avdol spoke warningly, "Tomb raiding may be a kind of sport in hell, but certainly not here, and you know that." You chuckled, grinning. "You got me, Avdol." Avdol shook his head, "If what I've heard is true, some of the residents in this area still fug deep underneath their houses in search of treasure without permission from the government." "Think this ancient guys left behind any undiscovered treasure?" asked Polnareff. "Perhaps they did." answered the Egyptian man. You were about to ask whether any of them had found anything, but Jotaro had been faster, asking if anyone had seen where the old man ran off to. "Oh, yes. To the bathroom. And he took Iggy, since he can detect enemies." explained Avdol. "Is that so?" said Polnareff. "Do you need to go?" wondered Avdol. "Well, I might, if it's a normal bathroom." stated the French causing you to chuckle. "Well, whether it's a normal bathroom or not, the chances of you being attacked there are high." "Kate, that's not funny." protested Polnareff. "Oh, trust me. It is." you countered.

||Meanwhile with Mr. Joestar and Iggy

He looked at the so called "toilet" in disgust. Had he know this bathroom consisted out of a cabin and a hole carved into the ground with still some left-over business from the one who had used this before, he would have waited till they got to the hotel. "Oh my god...!" he grunted in disgust. "The climate in this place is so damn arid, the crap dries up, turns into dust and blows away, which means instead of using water, this toilet relies solely on wind. And I don't see any toilet paper." he talked to himself. Then his eyes fell upon a little basin filled with sand of which he scooped some into his hand and let it trickle back down, "Exactly as I thought, some sort of sand basin...so, you wipe your ass...with sand?!" Well, dessert sand was as sterile as it could get, but still...."Oh my god!" Joseph exclaimed. He hurriedly left the cabin, he wouldn't do that to himself. "I think I'll pull a Polnareff and wait till we get back to the hotel. What's the point of a shack, if you're going in a hole? Might as well just do your business behind a rock. This thing is weird even for a place like Egypt." he grumbled in complaint, as he started to go back to his friends. He spotted something weird, though, which caused him to stop in his tracks. It was an electrical outlet installed on a rock. He inspected it. "This doesn't make the slightest bit of sense... Who in their right mind would put an electrical outlet in the rock? I wonder what it's used for?" he muttered, "There's no electricity out here..." However, he made the mistake of touching it. He flew back, electricity shooting through his body, "Damn thing electrocuted me..." he complained in pain, kinda happy that neither his wife or daughter nor Kate had seen it. They all would have said the same thing, "What were you expecting, touching an electrical outlet? Really...." Instead Avdol came, asking whether everything was all right, adding that they should probably get a move on. "Right. Just give me a second." he groaned, slowly getting up. "That scared the living daylights outta me. I can't believe it's still live. I guess the cables must run underground or something...You can never tell with this place, it's like travelling through a fantasyland." he complained, while following Avdol to the others. "Personally, I think a fantasyland would be more fun..." Kate pondered. Joseph sighed, ruffling the female's hair. Of course she would, hell was some sort of fantasyland, after all. Surely she missed that place, for her it was a home away from home. He would have to suggest a trip during the holidays after all this was over. He was sure Kate would be more than happy to show them all that hell had to offer. Kate had lived in an entirely different world from them all, a pretty complex one at that. Kate had explained that hell was not the only underworld. Hell and heaven were, of course, the most famous. But there was also for example, the underworld the god Anubis ruled over, or the underworld ruled by Hades...One was sent to the underworld, the after life, according to ones belief. If someone was not religious, they could choose a underworld, according to their sins of course. Most chose between hell or heaven. Once a year, delegations of all underworlds met for a big conference to talk about their methods, their progress, how many souls they received this year and so on. After that one meeting ended, they had a little competition amongst themselves, to determine which underworld was the strongest. If Joseph remembered correctly, Kate said that this year heaven would be the host, which meant that all possible gods, demons, angels and so on would gather in heaven. Heaven had been in an uproar all year long, to strengthen security. Since they were the only realm to only have good souls, they wanted to make sure, no one was corrupted...Kate had said, that she was looking forward to seeing Anubis, Sekhmet and Bastet, maybe even Rah, gods she got along with, though she didn't really know how to feel about Anubis, since in a sense he was also death, which she new as the grim reaper. Joseph had asked her, how she felt about Anubis, after the Anubis Stand attacked Jotaro. She only had answered that the Stand wasn't the god Anubis himself. One would have to differentiate between Stands and actual gods...In a way he was jealous. Kate got to learn so much ancient knowledge, and with the seven demon brothers, who each had a very strong personality, Kate was quick to adapt to new situations, and her personality and interests were wide-spread. She had learned to control the chaos and keep a cool head in tough situations. All this made her a wonderful leader...as long as you didn't rush her. She hated to be rushed more than anything. Unfortunately, Joseph had had to learn this the hard way. He could still vividly remember her transformation from happy girl to wildly snapping beast....Though she usually quickly calmed down afterwards, he surely would think twice before rushing her again.
