||Kate
You suddenly stopped hearing a faint scream in the distance. "I finally got you." the old man panted, grabbing your arm. You didn't react, instead you summoned Black Siren and had her listen for any more screams. There, westwards. There wasn't just one scream, there was, if you defined it correctly, a baby or a toddler crying. You tried summoning Lucifer's powers again but it still wasn't working. another scream. "Kate?" the old man asked, "Are you listening?" But you were already running off. There were two possibilities. First, someone was lost out here in the middle of nowhere and second, the people blocking the powers of a pact had kidnaped innocent children, and when they were screaming....you didn't dare finish the thought. What if they had to endure what you had gone through?! Your guts churned. In the distance you could hear Mr. Joestar calling after you, telling you to stop or at least wait for them, but you didn't listen. You stopped only when you found what you'd been looking for. A camp, overflowing with Exorcists. You looked around and found the baby, you looked some more and finally located the origin of the screams. Some sort of metal box, a big one with a fire burning underneath. "Listen! Listen to him sing his praises for the devil!" Cardinal Jonah. That bastard riled up all the exorcists around him, while burning an innocent child alive. You could feel the blood in your veins start boiling.

He and the others just caught up with Kate. He was sure she had her reasons for running off but what he saw when he arrived made his heart stop. These exorcists really were rotten people. Kate had jumped out and was currently tearing open the door of a huge metal box, a fire burning underneath. She pulled out a young boy of maybe five years. Kakyoin immediately reacted and summoned Hierophant Green, who stretched out a tentacle and took the little boy off her hands, "She won't leave without a fight, these bastards deserve to be punished." he stated and the group tended to the boy's burns. Kumiko and Jack had come to look for them, saying they were worried cause Jotaro and crew had taken so long. Now they were looking on with them. "I have a bad feeling about this. Kate is holding back her anger at the moment but just the tiniest provocation and she'll snap." muttered the old man. "Then let's stop her." said Polnareff. "No." Jack intervened, "That's something personal. I didn't know that the Cardinal did things like that. Locking children up in metal cases and cooking them alive. I'm not sure, but judging from the way Kate reacted...it's likely he did that to her, too." Joaquin couldn't believe what he saw, "I'm starting to understand why she sides with demons.." he muttered. "It seems you don't know the difference between singing one's praises for the devil and simple screams of pain. Guess I'll just show you!" Kate declared loudly, demanding all attention and began singing. It was a song in ancient demon tongue. Jotaro recognised some of the words Kate had taught him. The song was majestic, foreboding and proof of endless war, doom and death but as beautiful and captivating, tempting. "The nerve of that woman. To sing her praises for the devil, the hymn of hell, "The Armageddon" in the middle of an exorcists' camp." Jack huffed. But the world reacted to the song, clouds darkened the sun and the wind stopped, not one sound was to be heard, crows, snakes, spiders, scorpions as well as various other animals associated with hell gathered 'round. A scene of hell on earth. Kate finished singing, "That were praises for the devil. I hope you can judge better in the future." her eyes started glowing diabolically, she then launched at the exorcists, keeping most of them busy with a tornado of fire. Those who weren't pulled into it were trying to get close to the woman but were brutally slaughtered, their terrified screams, filled with pain and despair, echoing from the rocky cliffs around them. Then suddenly it went silent. The ghostly quiet after a storm. Kate stood there, with her back turned to them, hair waiving in the wind, in midst of the ashes and embers. She stood sublime as if all the pains of the world were resting on her shoulders. Like the loneliest person in the world, not fully human but not fully demon either. After a while in which the world seemed to stand still, unmoving, she looked over her shoulder, her green eyes were cold and emotionless. It was the face of someone who had gone through hell. She lifted her right hand, flames still flickering around it. No one dared say a word ."Wow..." Polnareff whispered soundlessly, breaking the spell. "Yeah, and she didn't even test her limits..." added the old man.
