Chapter 16: Everything makes sense now!

"Guys!!!" A group of people came in, shouting excitedly.

Both Sama Salu and Abigail and I turned to them. Sama's sad face changed into excited one.

"Welcome!!" Sama and Salu ran towards the group and had a group hug.

They were Sama and Salu's friends. They were 5 people in total, 3 girls and 2 boys.

"Isn't Zayn here yet?" One of the guys asked sitting on the couch.

"He'll be here soon." Salu answered quickly and Sama gave them a weak smile.

"This house is better than your previous flat." One of the girls said looking around the house.

"There's a backyard too." Sama said in a proud way. It looked as if she was bragging.

Bro! It's my house not yours.

"Let me get some drink for you guys." Salu said and went inside the kitchen.

After few minutes Salu came out with a tray full of glasses and gave everyone the drink. No idea what was inside.

"How can you start the party without us?" Zayn said entering the living room holding a carton of beer. Sophie and Ruchi behind him.

"Hey Zayn! Everyone greeted him.

Zayn placed the box on the table and sat beside a guy. Sophie and Ruchi sat in the empty couch. Sama got up and sat beside Zayn.

"Let me get drink for you guys too!" Salu said and went inside the kitchen again.

Oh no! Salu said she will spike Sophie's drink!! Oh no! Salu went to get drink for them. Sophie mustn't drink it. Abigail! Do something! We have to save Sophie!

"Abigail! Are you even listening?" I turned to Abigail.

"I'm sorry Luna, I have to go now!" Saying this Abigail disappeared. I sighed as I couldn't do anything. At the same time Ruchi whispered something in Sophie's ear. All eyes were on them. Sophie nodded and both of them got up.

"Excuse us for some minutes." Sophie said holding Ruchi's hand.

"Wait! Drink this first." Salu came out holding the tray with three glasses on it.

"Thank you!" Ruchi took two glasses and went upstairs. Sophie followed her.

Why did they go upstairs? I must follow them. I just hope they are fine.

I went upstairs with them.

Ruchi locked the door as soon as they got inside Sophie's room.

"What happened?" Sophie asked but Ruchi went inside the washroom ignoring her. Sophie followed her. Ruchi poured all the juice in the basin.

"Hey why are you throwing these?" Sophie asked. She looked confused.

"Salu spiked your drink!" Ruchi said, emptying both glasses.

"What?" Sophie was shocked.

"Sama and Salu want to humiliate you in front of Zayn. Sama thinks you stole Zayn from her." Ruchi added.

Wait! How did Ruchi know that Salu spiked the drink and the things about Zayn? I remember Ruchi was out with Sophie when Salu said that. Except Abigail and me, it was just Sama who knew about it. What's happening? I am so confused. Did Ruchi heard their conversation or what? Nothing is making sense! Wait! Is Abigail behind this?

"You caught me!" Abigail suddenly appeared in front of me.

"What's happening?" I asked her, I was really confused. As Abigail was about to speak Sophie spoke.
