I woke up hearing an irritating voice. When did I fell asleep? I stretched my hands and looked around; Abigail wasn't back yet. I walked to the window and looked outside. The backyard was silently accompanied by the moon light. The unwanted tars were following the wind.

Suddenly I remembered those girls and wondered what they were doing. I went outside my room and walked down to the living room. Sama and Salu were watching TV eating popcorn. My eyes were in search of Sophie. Searching for her I went towards the kitchen and there she was cooking.

"Go and help Sophie." I said it loud, turning to those two girls even though I knew they wouldn't hear me. Surprisingly both of them looked at me. Did they hear me?

"Isn't the dinner ready yet?" Salu asked looking at Sophie who was now standing beside me. They didn't hear me they looked towards me because Sophie was beside me.

"I am hungry." Sama added, keeping the empty bowl on the table.

"It's ready. I was about to inform you guys." Sophie replied.

"Can you help me plate the food?" Sophie asked.

"I am tired." Both Sama and Salu said simultaneously.

Those girls never fail to disappoint me.

Sophie sighed and went inside the kitchen. Those girls walked to the dining table and sat down side by side. Sophie plated the food and took them to the dinning table.

"Wow it looks tasty." Salu got excited looking at the food. Sophie gave her a weak smile and sat down in front of her.

"Did you finish the assignment?" Sama asked as Sophie took her first bite.

"I was busy cleaning the house and preparing the dinner." Sophie sarcastically replied. What? She cleaned all entire house by herself? What were those two girls doing?

"Can't you answer directly?" Sama angrily asked putting down the spoon.

"I answered directly." Sophie smirked. What's gotten inside this girl? Whatever! Those girls deserved those replies. I was enjoying Sophie's bossy nature but I was also craving for the pasta they were having. The food Abigail brought that morning was still there but I was then craving for pasta. Why wasn't Abigail back yet? I was missing her.

"You missing me?" I got startled. Abigail was sitting beside Sophie, eating the pasta Sophie made. When did she arrive? Abigail and her surprise entries.

"When did you arrive?" I asked her.

"When you were busy staring at the pasta." Abigail said taking a big bite of the food.

"Wait how are you eating the pasta?" I was shocked. How was she eating that?

"Come and eat this before I finish it all." She said giving me a challenging look. At that moment I didn't care about the answers I just wanted the food. I sat beside Abigail and ate the biggest spoon of pasta. It was too good.

"You'g nu igea wat happened befor u arrige." I said with my food filled with pasta.

"You what?" Abigail didn't understand a word I said.

"Wait." I swallowed all the food and continued talking.

"You have no idea what happened before you arrived." I replied.

"What happened?" She started laughing.

"Sophie is giving them savage replies." I told her in an excited way.

"I will complete the assignment by tonight and will give you the final copy tomorrow." Sophie silently said and focused on eating.

"Is this the savage reply you were talking about?" Abigail raised her brow.

"No, I don't know what she is saying. She was so cool few minutes ago." I wondered what happened to Sophie within few minutes.

"Good!" Sama ate the final piece of pasta and got up.

"Do the dishes before going to bed." Salu said, dramatically pushing her empty plate toward Sophie. Okay! That was rude.

Abigail and I were looking at them with our mouths left open. I was feeling as if I was living in Cindrella's world. Why was Sophie even bearing them?

"Girl! Speak for yourself you aren't their servant!" I said hoping Sophie would hear me.

Sophie sighed and replied "Okay!" sadly that reply was for Salu not for me.

"Cool! Good night then!" Sama said in her fake English accent and went upstairs, Salu followed her.

Sophie's eyes were full of tears. She silently finished the food without dropping a single drop of tear. Both Abigail and I were feeling so bad for her. Sophie then got up and took all the empty plates to the sink.

Abigail and I followed her. Sophie started doing the dishes. She wanted to cry but couldn't. She quietly finished doing the dishes and cleaned the kitchen. Later she turned off all the lights and went upstairs.

It seems like Sama and Salu does not like Sophie. If so, why are they even living together? On the top of that why is Sophie bearing them? Why is she doing their works?

"Lets just wait and see what happens next." Abigail turned to me and I nodded.
