"Mom! I'm home." I said as I entered the home.

"Welcome home darling!" Mom replied, coming out from her room.

"What do you want to eat?" Mom asked.

"Want to go on a drive? And let's eat out." I said. I must take her on a drive in my new car. We'd have some mother daughter quality time.

"I'd love to." She smiled.

"Let me freshen up and let's go." I added, going inside my room.

"Done!" Mom said and went to her room to change the dress.

I kept my bag on the chair and crashed on the bed. It was a fun day at college, except that Rude guy! Why am I thinking about him??? I should go and wash my face!

After 10 minutes, we both mom and I came out of our rooms.

"Someone's looking so pretty" I said in aww. My mom is the most beautiful woman on the earth.

"Because I'm your mom!" Mom added in a sarcastic tone and walked toward the dining room to leave a note for husband.

"As if he cares!" I smirked.

"Let's go." Mom changed the topic and pulled me with her.

We both got inside the lift. Neither of us spoke for few seconds. I was angry that she left a note for her husband. My mood was spoiled.

"Ellie, let's not spoil our mood because of that, please!" She broke the silence, holding my hands.

I nodded and smiled. I shouldn't spoil our precious time, thinking about that man. We reached on the parking.

"There's my baby!" I pointed towards my car.

"Wow! I saw it for the first time." Mom added in a dramatic tone.

Both of us laughed and walked toward the car. I opened the door for my mom and she got in with the brightest smile. I was doing the things she taught me.

Realizing my mom was so proud of me, I also got inside the car and started the car.

"Wow! It feels like yesterday, I used to take you on rides." Mom said in an excited way, as we reached on the street.

"Just how fast the night changes..." The song played on the radio, making both of us laugh.

"We'll never change, me and you..." Both of us started singing along with One Direction.

Mom and I were best friends from my childhood. She was the only one who genuinely cared about me. My human diary, my love, my everything, my world. She fulfilled all my wishes, from childhood to now. Now, it was my turn to pay her back and fulfill her wishes.

"Tell me, how was your day?" Mom asked, turning to me.

"It went well." I said, focusing on road but suddenly that rude guy came in my mind AGAIN!

"I met a weird guy." I added, making mom look at me with shocked expression.

"And and?" Mom asked, she seemed so interested in that topic.

"That's it!" I closed the topic. I didn't want to talk about him.

"My daughter finally noticed a guy." Mom started laughing.

"It's not like I noticed him. He made me notice him." I told her the truth, my eyes on the road.

"Isn't it the same thing." Mom sarcastically added.
