Chapter 15: Spike her drink!

Two days passed in a blink. All three girls were so busy. Sophie was busy cleaning the house, doing laundry, cooking, doing assignments etc. Salu and Sama were busy shopping, manicuring, pedicuring, eating and sleeping. And I was busy watching them work.

I wonder what will happen tonight. I am scared Sama and Salu will hurt Sophie. I also wonder what types of guest will come. Its their party, why am I scared? Poor Sophie is working so hard in the kitchen and these two girls are watching TV.

"What are you thinking?" Abigail brought me back to reality.

"Just about tonight's party." I told her the truth.

"You're not interfering, okay?" She said in a convincing way.

"Okay!" I replied, I just wanted to avoid discussion with her and she disappeared as always.

"Everyone will be here in 1 hour!" Sama turned to Salu after receiving a text in her phone.

"Let's go and get ready." Salu said. She seemed excited.

"Is the dinner ready?" Sama asked going inside the kitchen.

"Just one dish left!" Sophie said taking out raw chicken from the fridge.

"No need to rush! Everyone will be here in 2 hours." Sama said, eating a piece of French fries which Sophie just finished frying.

What? 2 hours? But just now she said 1 hour! Why is she lying? What is she up to?

"And please bring a carton of beer after you finish cooking." Salu added, checking the fridge.

"But we've already..." Sophie spoke but Sama cut her off "Just do as we say!" Sophie nodded and ignored them and started cutting the chicken.

Salu and Sama had those evil smirks on their faces. Then they left to get ready. I was feeling so bad as I couldn't help Sophie.

After what felt like 30 minutes the door bell rang. Sophie dried her wet hands and went towards the door. Sama and Sophie too came downstairs with their makeup half done. With half makeup on their face, they looked like ghosts. They were wearing a really short one piece. I wondered why they were even wearing that because 90% of their skin was exposed. 

"Let me open it!" Sama blushed. Why is this girl blushing? Did her boyfriend arrive or what?

Without any delay Sama opened the door and the smile in her face vanished as she saw a girl.

"Ruchi!!" Sophie ran to her and hugged her. Maybe she's Sophie's friend.

"My Sofu!" Ruchi hugged her back and separated after few seconds.

"Seems like you were expecting someone else!" Ruchi said in a sarcastic way turning to Sama.

"Wasted my precious 5 minutes!" Sama rudely said and stormed back to her room. Salu followed her.

"Why aren't you ready yet?" Ruchi asked, looking at Sophie.

"I haven't finished cooking!" Sophie replied walking inside the kitchen. Ruchi followed her.

"I don't know why you're doing this!" Ruchi sighed, helping Sophie.

"Because I love cooking!" Sophie replied, eating a piece of chicken.

"You know that's not what I meant!" Ruchi rolled her eyes and straightened her lips.

"Because the hostel is all packed up and I have nowhere to go!" Sophie gave her a weak smile.
