Chapter 56: Untangled Ties

"Mama..." I said, looking at mama.

"My baby..." Mama said, coming near me.

"I cannot believe I'm seeing you like this." Mama hugged me.

"I missed you so much. Why did you leave us baby?" Mama cried.

"You've no idea how I lived after you." Mama added.

"I missed you as much as you did. I am here waiting for you all for 19 years in our home." I added, tightly hugging her.

"I am glad, I am going to afterlife with you." Mama let out a small laugh, making me realize she was no more a human.

Nothing is better than mama's warm hug. I'm hugging her after so many years. This feels so good. I missed it so much.

"Mama... how did this happen?" I asked, even though I knew she jumped from the balcony.

"Who are you talking to?" Papa asked.

Wait, isn't mama visible to him?

"Whose phone call was it?" Ellie panicked.

"Your mom is no more..." Papa said, letting tears fall down from his eyes.

"No..." Ellie said and then paused. Liam hugged her, controlling his tears.

"We should go back; I need to see mom." Ellie started crying.

"We don't need to." Papa stopped her.

"If we go to the hospital, we'll see her dead body only but if we stay here, we will meet her soul." Papas said.

"Your mom is right here." Papa said, maybe he felt mama's presence.

"Mama, please show yourself." I turned to mama.

"No, I don't want any more fights. If I appear in front of them, they will make me choose between each other without knowing what's going inside me." Mama sighed, she looked sad.

"Honey... I cannot live without you. I am so sorry, this happened because of me. I am so sorry." Papa started crying so badly.

Mama let out a drop of tear. I know how it feels to leave a happy family and our loved ones.

"Please appear in front of us. I can't let you go..." Papa kept on crying.

"I won't be able to go if I appear." Mama said, sadly.

"Mama... it's okay. I am here." I held her hands.

"Fine..." Mama said.

I turned to Abigail and expressed her to make mama visible.

Abigail nodded and Mama was visible to everyone within seconds.

"Life doesn't give this chance to everyone..." Abigail gave us a weak smile.

The first thing we did was hugged... Papa, mama, Ellie and I had a hug. That hug wasn't just a hug... It was something unexplainable.

"Honey... please don't go. We need you." Papa held mama's hands.
