Liam's POV:
Ellie is too innocent to understand my mom's intentions. I can't believe mom hurt Ellie, just because her name is Ellie. Ellie must be in so much pain. The whole time I was scared mom and dad would hurt Ellie by saying stupid things, but I never thought mom would hurt her physically. My girl doesn't deserve this. I don't know what my mom's problem is. I'm going to talk with her once I drop Ellie home. I can't let it slide. It's still 3 hours left for Ellie's birthday, I can go home and bring the cake too. Ellie doesn't have a good memory of her birthday but from this year I will sure to make all of her birthdays memorable. But I should cancel the plan of picnic. I cannot take her out in this state. I'll take her to the hospital, while our families will gather together.
"I cannot believe this." Ellie dramatically frowned.
"What?" I asked her, not believing how cute she is looked.
"A beautiful girl is sitting beside you and you are busy day dreaming while driving." Ellie dramatically sighed, making me laugh.
"Baby, I'm focusing on driving." I laughed.
"Sure!" She acted like she was going to sleep. It was really cute.
"I'm all yours now. Don't sleep." I held her hands, stopping her from sleeping.
"Guess what your mom said to me." She said, looking at me.
"What?" I asked, my heart was beating so fast. What if mom said something mean?
"Your mom said she likes me." She giggled.
"You told me this in the party." I laughed. I was relieved.
"Did I?" She laughed.
"You were going to say something about your mom." She remembered. But I decided not to tell her about my mom hating the girls named Ellie. It'd have just hurt her. And the least thing I wanted to do was make her sad.
"You're just sleepy. Go to bed as soon as you reach home." I smile at her, changing the topic.
"I'm going to sleep here, goodnight." She ignored me, making fake snoring sound.
This girl really is the cutest. No matter how many times I see her, I fall for her every single time.
After 15 minutes of driving, we reached her house. I parked the car and turned to Ellie. She was actually asleep. My heart didn't want to wake her up. She looked really cute.
I should carry her instead of waking her up. I have to go home and bring the cake too. I shouldn't be staring at her, even though I want to stay here forever, looking at the one I love the most.
I got out of the car and slowly took Ellie in my arms. But sadly, she woke up.
"I can walk Liam." Ellie said, trying to get down.
"No! I want to." I carried her tightly in bridal style.
"Okay." Ellie smiled and hugged me.
"Is it still paining?" I asked, looking at her feet.
"Little bit." She replied.
"We'll go to the hospital tomorrow." I said, getting inside the lift.
"What's the floor?" I asked. Well, I have never been in her home yet.
"Its 28th floor." She replied.
"Be a good girl and go to bed okay." I kissed her on her cheeks and said.
"No, I want to stay awake till 12 am." She cutely said.
"Okay, I'll call you as soon as I reach home." I lied.
