A/N:

Guys... You must be wondering why an author's note instead of the story. Well, I have something to say to you guys.

In the previous chapter (chapter 35), there was an important scene. I was expecting some kind of shocked and surprised reaction from you guys, but no one seemed to notice that part. I'm a bit upset with that. I don't know if I couldn't write it well or you guys didn't care enough about the small details in the other previous chapters.

Maybe you guys noticed it, just didn't commented. If so, that is completely okay. You guys comment in every chapter and that means a lot, I get to know my strengths and weakness. Writing in Wattpad is like writing a second draft and you guys are my beta readers. If you guys point on something, I'd help me a lot if I get to publish in real world.

I am very much thankful to each and everyone of you, for reading my work here.  Tangled Ties have hit 2K reads, because of you all. I consider myself so lucky to have you guys, who motivate me to write. But I also want to add, don't just read to finish reading but read to feel, read to understand, read to remember and read to realize.

I didn't mean to hurt anyone of you. I just had to say what I felt, since we are together from more than one year.

With this, I'm starting the story.

Chapter 36:

"You're a dead meat!" I texted P.

"You should be thanking me! You ungrateful brat!" P replied.

All of sudden, I felt as if someone was looking at me. I shifted my gaze from the phone screen to that person. As I saw her, my heart skipped a beat. Ellie was looking at me. We had an eye contact for few seconds, then she turned away. My heart was beating so fast. Was Ellie really looking at me? The way her cheeks blushed as I caught her staring at me. I smiled, thinking of that. But remembering the moments from the canteen made me sigh again! Ellie must have thought of me as a rude guy.

The professor was talking about the course but I wasn't able to concentrate. My mind was stuck on Ellie... Is she, my Ellie?

Suddenly a group of seniors came inside our class, interrupting me and my thoughts. The first person I saw was P! P meant Prinsiya. She's my mom's best friend's daughter. P is few years elder than me but we are each other's best friends! P and I grew up together that is why I ended up in the same University as her, even though I was going to be alone after she graduates.

P was all chilling with her group, telling us about the welcome party. I was giving her a deadly glance for what she did in canteen, it was unforgivable.

After telling us about the welcome party, the seniors left and the professor started teaching again. All the time I was staring at Ellie, hoping she'd turn back... I spent the first day of college just looking at her. Liam turned into a stalker!

"Wait for me in the parking!" I received P's text as the class ended.

"I'm running away with your car!" I texted back.

Shoving all the books inside my bag, I stood up. Ellie and Ariana were already gone. My eyes were already looking for Ellie... Plucking the ear pods inside my ears, I walked to the parking. The parking lot was like a fish market.

I walked toward P's car and got in. Basically, it was her car but I was the one who always drove it, so the key always remained with me. P was taking a lot of time so I had to wait for her inside the car. The fish market was slowly getting quiet. One of the new cars left as all the other cars left. The car owner must love the car so much.
