Whilst Amy prepared the food, vector and sonic placed the children in their seats 

soon followed by rouge who placed a grouchy and sleepy hedgehog cub in the 3rd seat 

rouge had suggested that whilst they fed the babies she would go out to get some more supplies 

meanwhile, tails had said he was going to make sure the reverse ray was ready to go when the children's mentality came back 

they didn't want to try it just yet in case there were any technical difficulties 

the biggest fear being them back into their old bodies but with the mentality of 7-month-olds, it was a little weird the other way around but this way it would seem extremely odd 

regardless they just had to wait until the mind effects wore off and they would finally be able to get back to normal 

"Please, just eat" rouge seemed to beg 

whilst sonic had no trouble feeding knuckles 

vector and Amy seemed to be having more difficulty 

"still a little picky eater huh" vector grumbled as the little chameleon kept moving his head away from the utensil that was trying to feed him

"and this ones still got one mean death glare" Amy complained as the little hedgehog did just that

"Relax, I've got an idea," charmy said smugly 

"here espy, look at the pretty plane, woohoo," charmy said as he grabbed the spoon from the croc, flying around with it in hand 

the chameleon's eyes were awestruck as he watched, seeming to grab in want 

"here we go ahhhh" charmy said as he flew back to the chameleon as the baby opened his mouth to let the food inside earning an excited cry as he finished 

"he's just a kid now, so you just had to make it look exciting, kids eat this material up" Charmy concurred 

"as you should know" vector chuckled 

"hey! I helped you, why you gotta do that!" charmy asked with a grumble 

"ok, ok, what about this little guy hotshot?" Vector asked pointing to shadow and his frowny face 

"ah easy, just do something to make him laugh," Charmy said with a matter of factly tone 

"ah got it" Amy let out as she placed the food to one side 

"ok little guy, let's put a smile on your face," the pink hedgehog said mischievously 

and with on warning, she began tickling him 

just on the tummy and he was already spilling out his guts 

"do it now," Amy said to sonic who had finished feeding the echidna 

sonic grabbed the food and placed a spoonful into the baby hedgehogs mouth

but it was immediately spat out and into his "fakers" face 

"ewwwwww" nearly everyone let out 

"ugh" sonic let out as he reached out for a towel to wipe off the food 

"now that's not very nice young Mr" Amy scolded, pointing an accusing finger 

only this seemed to upset shadow 

his face already beginning to scrunch and quiver 

"oh, no no no" Amy gasped with shock

but it was too late, tears began to flow and the screams reach the roof 

"no, shhh, it's ok" Amy cried herself as she brought shadow into her arms 

"guys!" sonic gasped as he looked at the other children 

seemed that crying was contagious 

2 pairs of tears and screams soon joined 

"ahhhhh, my intennas!" charmy yelled as he yanked them in pain, whilst sonic and vector went to do the same actions as the pink hedgehog 

"they've got strong lungs huh" vector shouted through the chaos, holding Espio close and swaying him to calm him down 

"Yeah, no kidding, come on, it's ok, no need to cry" sonic answered before returning his attention back to the red echidna 

"There are some pacifiers in their bedroom, maybe that'll calm them down" Amy suggested 

"charmy get them now!" vector ordered to which the bee happily did, flying fast to retrieve them 

"I'll still need to feed shadow so just take Espio and knuckles into the other room" Amy practically shouted as she shooed the boys out, so if there was another tantrum they wouldn't be affected 

"ok, good luck Ames" sonic shouted as she closed the kitchen door 

"got em" charmy announced as he gave them to the croc and blue blur 

at once they popped them into the toddler's mouths 

and instantly

it was silent 

the 3 olders sighed in relief, although there was the distant crying from the kitchen, it was definitely an improvement 

"glad that's over with" sonic sighed before looking back at himself 

"can you two watch them both as I clean myself of gunk," sonic asked as he placed knuckles into the crocs other hand and made his way back to the showers

"no problem buddy" vector said as he went to the play pin 

there he sat down in the pin and let the toddlers roam free (as much as they could)

"charmy, don't forget to take lots of pictures and videos, we'll need these for future blackmail" vector laughed as Espio played with his chain and knuckles was hugging the croc (must think I'm the master emerald) vector thought in amusement 

"already on it" Charmy announced, pointing up to his helmet which had a small camera within it 

Espio and knuckles were always the most stern of the chaotixs (knuckles being an honorary chaotix member) so it was funny to see them as such carefree little kids, no thoughts whatsoever unless it was playtime 

it was nice seeing them like this, and vector-only hoped a bit of this carefree attitude would stay when they turned back because they could really use a fun side 

his thoughts were interrupted as the front door began to unlock 

mother bear instincts seemed to kick in as vectors killer mode kicked in, holding the two babies close as watching the door fearfully 

at least before he saw who it was 

"relax it's just me guys I'm back, and you won't believe who I found on my way" rouge announced as she entered the building once more, with bags and 2 familiar figures helping her with them
