returning her gaze to the little hedgehog she had been reading to she found him sleeping peacefully, and with that she left the nursery and went to make herself a snack
only she didn't get a chance as she heard a loud crash and yell in tails's workshop
running down to ease her curiosity she came face to face with a very shocked fox
"tails what's wrong? what happened?" she asked, putting her hand on the young inventors shoulder for support
"I was about to finish the last part of the reverse ray before metal sonic came flying out, the electricity being turned of for a split second and he attacked me, I tried to fight him of but I couldn't-" tailsexplained/cried
Amy's eyes bust wide as she quickly rushed out of the lab and into the nursery, tails following closely
but as she feared the metal menace was holding a sleeping hedgehog in his metal claw
Amy readied her hammer shouting "don't you dare hurt him" but metal seemed un-phased by the threat but instead darted out the closest exit, the window, and flew out before the two could do anything but watch
"noooo!" tails and Amy cried as they saw he zoom of
"we need to tell sonic!" tails declared
(25 minutes before)
eggman had secretly hacked into tails's workshop and deactivated the cage that held metal sonics cage
laughing to himself at his own brilliance
(15 minutes before)
metal sonic flew of to eggmans base to drop of the first child
where he was greeted by his master with glee
and was rewarded with a device to help him disguise himself as his copy to complete the last part of the mission
(10 minutes before)
"hello sir, are you ready to pick up your kids?" miss woodsticks asked happily
"affirmative" metal sonic said in a sonic the hedgehog cloak
and with that miss woodsticks unknowingly gave the two sleeping babies to the imposter and watched him run away with them
the metal faker happy with his mission being an success
