(In the living room after sonic told them all what happened)

"well it seems like we will need to get knuckles more...suited to this situation" vanilla said gently

"what do you mean ms vanilla?" tails asked

"well, from what you have all told me what happened on the phone, I thought it be best to bring a few things that might help" vanilla replied as she reached into her quite large bag

(how did I not notice that?) most of them thought

"I brought somethings that I knew you would need during this time" vanilla said sweetly

As she emptied her bag, she revealed a baby bottle, a bib with a carrot on it, a white blanket and a pack of diapers

While vanilla smiled, thinking she was being helpful, all eyes were on knuckles who had the face of true horror

"t,thank you vanilla, that's very helpful" sonic said, trying his best to hold in his laughter

Vanilla smiled as she reached over to knuckles

"now let's get you applied" vanilla said sweetly as she took knuckles and a diaper with her

Knuckles screamed in protest, shouting that he didn't need one as he tried to struggle free, but as the door of the bathroom closed, he discovered that this was a lost battle

"wow, this is not going to be easy" sonic sighed

"but Mr knuckles is too small to use a toilet anymore" cream interjected, bringing attention to her, for she was being silent playing and drawing

"yeah but it's got to be embarrassing" Amy pointed out sympathetically

"I guess I could make a machine that could change him for us, no embarrassment for him or us" tails inquired

"that sounds great, but isn't the main concern getting him back to normal?" sonic asked

"oh yeah totally, but while he is in this position, may aswell make it as comfortable as we can" tails answered

A door opening soon took them out of their conversations

All heads were directed on the grumpy echidna with a very red muzzle who was trying to hide his new clothing with his leg. He was also sporting new white socks and mittens,

"If there is anything else you need help with, just call, I will bring over some more stuff tomorrow but if it last's for a long time I would recommend going shopping" vanilla instructed as she gently put knuckles onto the sofa

"thank you so much ms vanilla, your help is deeply appreciated" sonic thanked while mentally laughing his but of

"no problem at all, let us go cream, will you join us Amy?" vanilla asked

"I will meet you two up later, I'll help these two with knuckles" Amy replied happily

"ok I will see you soon" vanilla said as she and cream left the building

It was only a few seconds before sonic and tails were back on their ways, laughing at the echidna's dismay

"shut up!" knuckles cried out, but the two refused

At least before Amy's hammer soon came into view

Hitting the two directly on their heads, making them instantly stop and cry out in pain instead

"ow! Amy!" they cried

But Amy didn't care

"don't you two have something better then just laughing at this poor baby's state" Amy asked dangerously

The two nodded in fear as they left the room

Amy made her hammer disappear and redirect to the echidna who seemed to be on the verge of tears

"th, thanks" knuckles muttered embarrassedly

Amy sighed sympathetically, lowering herself the the cubs eye level

"listen, I know it's different and difficult, and their laughter really doesn't help" Amy began

"your point" knuckles questioned, not sure how this was going to make him feel better

"what I mean is, your going to get through it, you're the strongest guy I know, physically yeah but also mentally, you're just going to have to continue to be strong and you'll get through this with your head held high" Amy finished her mini speech

Knuckles thought hard on what she said, if he could get through this, he could get through anything

"yeah, I'll show them!" knuckles said determinedly

Amy had to hold in a little chuckle, the way he raised his little fist in the air, his face in a proud one, it was simply adorable

"(cough) ok, let's get some food in ya" Amy said, as she picked him up and headed to the kitchen

Yes knuckles was going to stay strong, and that meant he was going to keep fighting, especially against the things he doesn't want to do
