it doesn't stop

Shadow began to wake up

Thanks to the hot milk, the cold flannel and the warm blankets he was feeling much better then he was that morning

Still a little groggy however

As he tried to rub his eyes, he found that he couldn't

Opening his eyes wide in confusion

Through his cloudy glaze, he found himself restrained in a metal baby bouncing chair like contraption, the rails physically stopping his arms from moving

The only thing he could move was his neck and head, to which he used to look around his surroundings

To his left, there was a wall, pictures of Eggman and how he was the greatest littered it

In front of him were more pictures, accompanied by a tv which was of at the moment, the floor in front of him seemed to be hiding a secret underneath

And to his right

Two very familiar figures sat unconscious in the same type of chair he was trapped in, railings in the same position

"Hey! Both of you wake up now!" Shadow whisper shouted at the two, trying to alert them and not their kidnappers

Luckily for him, it seemed to have worked as the two began to shift out of their sleepy state

Unlucky for him, a certain little echidna began to talk quite loudly

"Ugh, why can't we just" knuckles began before being immediately shushed quite viciously

Knuckles looked to where he was being shushed, ready to shout at them, at least that was what he was planning to do before he found himself in a very concerning situation

The shadow hedgehog shusher was trapped in a baby bouncer like chair

As was himself

Confused he was about to ask shadow what was going on

Before a series of struggling sounds interrupted him to his right

Espio was fully awake and by the look of his eyes was panicking

Knuckles knew how much the chameleon's freedom meant to him, and it was clear that this situation was entirely out of Espio's comfort zone

"Esp, you need to try and calm down, panicking isn't going to help, try to stay calm ok" knuckles whispered, trying to reassure his squirming friend

Through his escape attempts, it was clear he was bashing his immobile arms and trapped chest against the metal bars, knuckles knew if he carried on he was going to be getting more then just bruises

"then what do we suppose we do, wait until our kidnapped back comes to harm us?" Espio whispered angrily as he asked the echidna, although taking his friend's words to account as his squirming stopped and was beginning to take deep breaths

But before knuckles could reply a familiar but despised voice entered the room

"And why would I do that to my newest hedgehog killing minions?" Eggman asked

The face of the dreaded man entered on the newly awakened tv screen, face full of evil glee

"You're madder then we thought if you think we'd ever be minions of you Eggman" shadow growled, seeming to spit out the villain's name in disgust

But to this, the monster of a man seemed to simply laugh

"Ho, ho you think you have a choice in this, once I'm done with you three free will be nothing but a memory you all won't have the capacity to remember" Eggman continued

He lifted a remote in his hand and pressed a button

The room seemed to vibrate as a terrifying machine-like ray came from the floor

All children looked to the machine in horror

"What are you planning on doing with that eggface?" Knuckles asked, trying to sound brave, but it still came out slightly shaky

"This you sniffling bed wetter is the machine that will earn me my victory, one shot of this will turn your brains into mush, causing you to act and think like the infants your bodies to represent, However one shot won't be enough to make it permanent, that's why we will be giving you two shots" Eggman laughed/monologues/answered

"But why we would simply forget our skills in that sense, your plan seemed flawed" Espio began, smirking slightly

but Eggman's smile didn't falter

"that's the beauty of this machine when you three regain the ability to walk again, all your knowledge of your abilities will clicki back into action" Eggman answered once again

Eggman began to power up the ray

"all your abilities, and all your devoted loyalty, sonic and his friends won't stand a chance" Eggman laughed as pressed the button
