Wearing a loose black spaghetti crop top that shows a bit of my cleavage and my stomach paired with a black wide high waisted square pants I grab my small pouch after applying a light make up and walk my way down the stairs to see no one. Napakunot ang nuo ko. Busy siguro sa mga trabaho nila.

Nevermind, I'll just visit my father's office and then continue towards our newly built airport here in the Philippines. Dumiretso na'ko sa garahe para magpahatid. I don't know how to drive and I have no intention to learn about it. For some reason, I have a trauma about driving alone and I don't where it came from and what caused it.

"Manong Edgar, sa mall lang po."

"Sige po, ma'am."

I smiled at him and after he started the engine, I initiated the conversation. "Kamusta na po ka'yo, manong?"

"Ayos lang naman ho."

"Ay, diba retired kana sa pagiging driver namin? Where's your son?" Ang alam ko pinapahinga na siya ng ama ko kaya hindi ko mapigilang magtaka.

The old man turned the vehicle before answering, "May board exam kasi ngayon si Frederich kaya hindi siya makakapagtrabaho ng maayos sa inyo."

"Oh wow, magtatapos na pala talaga ang panganay niyo." Ani ko habang matamis na ngumingiti. Seeing hardworking parents making their children graduate makes me feel so happy and proud. "Oo nga po, ma'am. Makakaraos narin ako sa panganay ko. Ang bunso ko nalang ang magka-college palang."

I nodded, "Nandito naman po kami para tumulong."

"Nako! Huwag na ho, ma'am." Nagtatarantang ani nito.

I giggled, "Kayo po ang bahala, manong. I was just suggesting."

Nang makarating na kami sa mall ay kaagad ko siyang binigyan ng pera para kumain muna at magpahinga habang mag-eenjoy ako na kasama ang mga kaibigan ko.

"Don't worㅡ" A ring interrupted what I was about to say with its familiar sound. I almost immediately answered the call.

"Yes, hon?" I grinned. "Miss me already?" I teased the other side as I heard a sigh.

[Sobra. Mag-iingat ka ha?]

"No need to remind me, you too though."

[Sure. I can't call you in the next few hours kasi marami akong appointments ngayon.]

"It's okay."

[Hmm...feel free to drop by if you want to.]

"Mukhang hindi yata ako makakapunta d'yan ngayong araw, but we'll see."

After the call dumiretso na ako sa loob ng mall habang nagcha-chat sa mga kaibigan ko sa group chat.

Medyo maaga pa kasi at kabubukas palang siguro ng mall kaya hindi pa masyado karami ang mga tao sa loob. I quickly made my way on their location at wala pang minutong paghahanap sa kanila, kaagad ko silang napansin. Their fashion sense differentiates them from others.

I walk my way towards them and finally when I sat down, my eyes locked with the boy of our group or should I say "man" of the group, Akari. She smiles after a few seconds of us looking at eachother.
