Clive held my hand while we're walking around it, comfortable silence enveloping us until we passed by a food stall.
"Do you want some?"
I looked up at him and nodded.
"Dalawa pong Siopao."
While he's buying something for the both of us, my eyes caught a man holding a silver plastic that is obviously being used as a picnic blanket in this place, based on what I see on the people in the field.
"Don't let go of my hand." He said, while handing me my own food and drink.
I chuckled, taking the food and drink."Hindi naman ako mawawala."
"Kahit na, maraming tao dito, mawawalan ako ng kadate." I rolled my eyes at him bago ko binalik ang paningin ko sa mama na nagtitinda. Mabuti nalang may dalawang tao pa na bumibili baka hindi namin siya maabutan kung ganito kami katagal.
"I just want to buy that silver plastic para maging picnic blanket natin."
"Oh, sige."
After buying the picnic blanket we settled down on the grass, "You really are fond with picnics, huh?" He mused.
"I am." I laughed lightly. "Sayang hindi mo dinala ang guitara mo."
"That's fine, I'll take you to my house after this." He shrugged.
I smiled at him befor enjoying the Siopao that he bought for the both of us.
His eyes drifted up towards me, habang ngumunguya. "I have."
"What is it? Mind telling me?" I eagerly asks.
"I find making music more comforting and I can see myself creating many more, actually." He started. "So I decided to be a music producer."
"Paano naman yung boses mo,"
"What about it?"
I shrugged, "I want it to be heard by so many bunch of people..." I look down at my drink and tried to open it, but I can't. Clive came in to the rescue and grabbed it from me, easily opening it and giving it back to me. "I mean, if you want to. It's still your decision." I then drink my Mountain Dew.
"But what if I only want you to be the only one who hears it?" I almost choke at my drink, but that doesn't mean I'm still okay. I suddenly started coughing my lungs out because of the overwhelming liquid on my throat.
"Are you okay?" He asked, his voice laced with worry. After a few coughs, I finally calmed down.
"I'm okay..."
"Good," He smiles. "What's your answer?"
"About what?"
"About my question a while ago."
"Well...do I really have to?"
"Yes, honey." He grins. "I have another question after that."
"Okay, my answer is..." I bite my lip to stop myself from smiling. "Yes."
