Kitang kita ng sarili kong mga mata ang pagposas ng mga kamay ni Delilah. Me and my loved ones are finaly free from her life threatening actions towards us, although I don't have any ideas about her intentions or what actually happened that made her do all of this. Is it because of her daughter or was it their plan all along?

"Anak, have dinner with us." Aya ni Papa sa'kin habang lumalakad na kami papunta sa mga sasakyan namin para umuwi, kahit hindi ko naman planong umuwi talaga kasi hindi pa rin ako magkakaroon ng pahinga habang hindi pa nagigising ang ama ng sinapupunan ko.

"Sure," I walked by his side and entered the family car for us four. Para kasi ito sa pamilya ni Manong Edgar and as his employer, may responsiblidad kaming lahat sa kasong ito. Even though it's not the usual family dinner that we always have, I still have to be in it for the sake of my sanity. Kapag bumalik kasi ako kay Clive na wala sa matinong isipan na may iba pa akong mahal sa buhay, baka mas bumigat ang mararamdaman kong pagkakaabala sa kinabukasan namin ng anak ko.

Dad drove while Mom is sitting at the passenger seat, both me and Cai in the backseat, as usual. It was quiet and I get that, Manong Edgar had always been a family to us and to lost him this way was heart wrenching. Tinitigan ko na lang ang mga tala para ako'y hindi kabahan sa mga pag-uusapan namin mamaya.

The second that Dad parked the car, we all came out and changed before preparing the meals that Mom has to cook with the other kitchen helpers and I also helped on baking because that's the thing that I'm only good at, inside the kitchen.

"Baka masunog mo ang bahay natin ha? Madami na tayong problemang inaaalala, huwag kana dumagdag." Syempre hindi mawawala ang bibig ni Kuya.

"Manahimik ka nga d'yan, Cai. Hindi ganito ang tamang oras para magbiro baka batuhin ka ng kapatid mo ng kutsilyo, ewan ko na lang sa'yo." I let out a sigh at what my mother said about me. I really don't have the energy to come up with a good remark to my older brother so I practically ignored him and did my very best to help.

Father was preparing the table, while my older brother is with mom. Medyo na mana ko ang pagkawala ng abilidad sa kusina kaya hindi siya pinapalapit sa kusina kasi baka madisgrasya ito, sabi ng mama.

Time flew by and we're finally at the table, eating. And because I am eating for two, I am now careful of what I eat and leisurely pick the vegetables and other foods that has good sources of nutrients and vitamins for me and my baby.

"Ano nga pala ang pag-uusapan natin?" Cai asked.

"Tungkol sa dahilan kung bakit ginawa 'yon ni Delilah," Pagsisimula ni Mama. "I think I know why she did all of this."

"How?" I inquired before putting a cooked cabbage on my mouth, munching on it.

"She was my greatest friend, probably like a sister." She chuckled. "Alam na alam namin ang sekreto ng isa't-isa and one of those are the feelings that she has for your father." Dad held her hand and squeeze it as they look at eachother with a gentle gaze.

Ah, I miss my lover.

I shake my head subtly, focusing on what my mom has to say. I'm still gonna see Clive later and I sure will lay beside him just like I did a week ago. I was too busy to come and visit him again and that's why I've planned to do it tonight, but I guess I will be late.

"But I fell for your mother as she pushed me and Delilah to be together, I confessed to her and told Delilah my true feelings." Dad grinned as he talks. "It ruined me and Delilah's a decade of friendship."
