"We're coming with you, darling." Sabi ni Papa na may halong pagseseryoso sa boses niya. Natigilan ako sa pagnguya ng aking kinakain na hapunan. Zinon is his lawyer after all and Clive is the one who has suitable evidences against Penelope and I can't wait to know those evidences, because maybe I forgot some of it.

Time runs quickly and before I even know it, I was already in my seat in the courtroom locking an eye contact with Penelope while an unfamiliar man walks in the front and sat at the witness seat.

The man took an oath to agree or affirm to tell the truth in front of everyone and after that, a lady, maybe Penelope's lawyer walked towards the witness seat and her impeachment began. "Are you one of those witness in the accident that happened on August 17th in the year 2015?"

The man nodded, the lawyer continued. "How did you witness the scene that happened 7 years ago?"

"A-Ako po yung bumangga kay Ms. Novenche, ako po kasi ang nagmamaneho ng truck." I can feel my world stopped at what I just heard as Clive's hold on me tightens and so does the hold of my mother on my arm. Parang hindi ako makahinga na nahihilo ako. How did they found this man?
