"Sir," I heard Harvey's voice as he knocked on the surface of my door, getting my attention. Bumaling ako sa kaniya at tinaasan siya ng kilay. "You have a meeting with the board about the business trip on Italy."

I leaned against my chair, "What time?"

"In an hour from now." I nodded, "Thanks."

With that, he walk out of my office and closed the door gently. My eyes landed on the picture framed on my desk. A beautiful girl with sparkling eyes inside the embrace of my young self, stared at me. I grabbed it with no hesitation, leaning back on my chair again. I let out a sigh, my thumb carressing her pretty face.

"Hanggang ganito nalang ba 'ko?" I muttered.

I bite my lip as the silence answered me, my heart aching. I want to see her again, even if it's just for the last time. Even if she hates me, then I'll just stay and admire from afar.

"I miss you." I put it back on my table and massage my temple. I've been trying my best on finding her, but no matter what I do - I can't. There must be something or someone that is helping her family on hiding her. It's like she never existed and I hated the feeling of it. My world just turned into something mediocre.

"We're going on a business trip on Italy next week. Why do we have to talk about this?" I said while walking in on the meeting room. Napatahimik sila sa binuga kong salita.

"But we don't have any business allies on Italy." One of them stated. I sat on my chair, in the middle.

"I have many connections, so don't worry." I shrugged. "Is that all?"

They nodded, I rolled my eyes. "This is so unprofessional of you all. You're wasting my time."

"Butㅡ"

"But you could've just emailed me your stupid questions. We're not going there for a fashion week or a vacation, we're there for business." Mariin kong ani.

"Dismissed." I said, standing up and walking out of the room. Sumunod naman kaagad si Harvey.

"Somebody is going to lost their job in one of these days." I mumbled entering my office.

"Hindi ako 'yan, diba boss?" I chuckled, "Gusto mo ba?"

Umiling siya ng napakabilis, "Joke lang."

"There's no place for jokes in this field, Mr. Romano." I stopped near the wide window overlooking the whole city of Metro Manila.

"Noted, mauuna na'ko." Harvey closed the door after him. I sighed, running my fingers through my hair. It's been 7 years. Kamusta na kaya ang kalagayan niya? Is she healthy and happy now? Without me? Did she forgot about me again?

I miss her so much. Every second and every minute, I feel the regret coming back - breaking my heart into tiny pieces until it's all crumbled up and shattered.

"We have to walk inside the Airport to get into the runway because the road to enter is being changed as we speak." Harvey explained when my eyebrows furrowed after the car stopped at the parking lot.

I nodded, "Okay."

I got out of the car with the others and made our way to the gate designated for private planes. My eyes landed on a familiar silhouette, wearing a pilot uniform and a luggage trailing behind her. I can feel how my breath hitched in surprise as my eyes widened, I froze at my step and stilled. She's there, so close yet so far. My baby is looking as gorgeous as ever with her sparkling eyes shining with happiness. I knew that she would make it, I never doubted her.
